Analysis Of Experience In Diagnosis And Treatment Of Scalenus Anticus Syndrome For Professor Fan Binghua

Objective The purpose of this study is to summarize Professor Fan Binghua’s academic experience in the theoretical understanding,diagnosis and treatment of scalenus anticus syndrome,with a view to further standardize the clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods Study following Professor Fan,record the view of scalenus anticus syndrome,collect the relevant clinical data to be statistically analyzed,check the relevant papers and literature related to the disease to support,and "summarize Professor Fan’s thinking.Results 1.Re-understand scalenus anticus syndrome by the interpretation of TCM.2.Classify the etiology clearly:the primary etiology is the intrinsic pathogenic factors,the secondary etiology is exogenous pathogenic factors,the third etiology is the pathological changes of the body related to the symptoms of the disease.They are treated as the goal of treatment,prevention and nursing respectively.3.Explain the TCM pathogenesis of scalenus anticus syndrome from three aspects:meridian theory,divergent meridians theory and"Gucuofeng and jinchucao" theory.4.Due to the basic structure and possible variations of the scalenus from the perspective of western medicine anatomical understanding,nerves and vessels are easy to be squeezed and stimulated,resulting in symptoms.Professor Fan has summed up the symptoms of scalenus anticus syndrome as pain,paralysis,swollen,swelling,cool feeling,white and purple skin.He considers that pain is the symptom because of inflammatory irritation,and paralysis is the symptom due to squeezed nerves,and cool feeling and white skin is caused by the arterial insufficiency,and the obstruction of venous reflux causes the symptoms of swollen,swelling,purple skin.5.Based on the principle of curing etiology for firsthe focuses on the treatment of the Jingbi point with One-Thumb-Pushing and joints reduction manipulation to correct the errors.6.Among 31 cases in the study of this disease,6 cases were cured,and 18 cases showed excellent results,5 cases effective results,2 cases ineffective result.The total effective rate was 93.5%.Conclusion Professor Fan has a unique view on the diagnosis and treatment of scalenus anticus syndrome.He selects tuina to treat this disease by the thinking of "etiology differentiation and treatment",with high specificity,high safety and good efficacy.
