Objective:The aim of the present study was to observation the changes of carotid atherosclerotic plaque size before after percutaneous ultrasound treatment,and investigate the relationship between the risk factors of carotid atherosclerotic plaque and the changes of carotid atherosclerotic plaque size before after percutaneous ultrasound treatment.Method:According the inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 60 patients who were hospitalized at the Department of Neurology,in the Central Hospital of Dalian from May 2015 to May 2016 and with carotid atherosclerotic plaques or carotid artery mild-to-moderate stenosis after carotid ultrasound examination were enrolled.There are 29 males and 31 females,and their ages ranged from 40 to 85 years(mean 65.07±8.74 years).They are divided into two groups:A group(unilateral plaque group)(n=30): mainly for unilateral carotid atherosclerotic plaques were given ultrasound treatment;B group(bilateral plaque group)(n=30): mainly for bilateral carotid atherosclerotic plaques or mild to moderate stenosis patients,which were divided into two subgroups: B1 group: one side is given simple drug treatment(oral atorvastatin 20 mg and aspirin 100mg);B2 group: the other side is given percutaneous ultrasound treatment on the basis of drug treatment(oral atorvastatin 20 mg and aspirin 100 mg and percutaneous ultrasound treatment).Recorded the clinical data of patients,including age,gender,weight,height,smoking history,history of hypertension,history of diabetes,history of cerebral infarction,and the results of TC,FIB,TG,D-dimer,HDL-C,Hcy,LDL-C,Hs-CRP,length of plaque before treatment(Lb),thickness of plaque before treatment(Tb),length of plaque after treatment(La),thickness of plaque after treatment(Ta)and the change of the length(?L)and the change of the thickness(?T).Data were analyzed with the Statistical Package for Social Sciences 20.0 statistical software(version 20.0,SPSS),and a significant test of the standard was test for bilateral P<0.05.Result: 1.The comparison among the general data of A group and B group,namely gender,age,history of diabetes,history of cerebral infarction,BMI,smoking history,history of hypertension and the results of TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,FIB,D-dimer,Hcy,Hs-CRP before the treatment,has no statistical difference.2.La compared with Lb,Ta compared with Tb,A group and B2 group were reduced,and has significantly statistical difference(P < 0.01).The size of plaque in B1 group after treatment was no significantly lower than that before treatment,and has no significant difference.3.A group:TG,LDL-C,Hcy,FIB,Hs-CRP after treatment decreased compared with before treatment,but has no statistical difference.TC after treatment decreased compared with before treatment,HDL-C,D-dimer after treatment increated compared with before treatment,has significantly statistical difference.(P < 0.05).B group:There is no statistical difference between the results of TC,Hcy,TG,FIB,LDL-C,D-dimer,Hs-CRP after treatment and before treatment.HDL-C after treatment increated compared with before treatment,has significantly statistical difference.(P < 0.05).4.The comparison of the length or the though of the plaques before treatment between A and B2 groups,all has no statistical difference.The comparison of the change in length of the plaques(?L)between A and B2 groups,has significantly statistical difference.(P < 0.01).The comparison of the change in thickness of the plaques(?T)between A and B2 groups,has significantly statistical difference.(P < 0.05).5.The comparison of pertentage of the change in length of the plaques(?L%)between A and B2 groups,has significantly statistical difference.(P < 0.05).The comparison of pertentage of the change in thickness of the plaques(?T%)between A and B2 groups,has significantly statistical difference.(P < 0.01).6.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the thickness of plaque before treatment(Tb)had an effect on the change of the plaque size before and after treatment(?L and ?T).(P < 0.01).Gender,age,BMI,history of diabetes,history of hypertension,history of cerebral infarction,smoking history,TC,FIB,TG,Hcy,HDL-ch,D-dimer,LDL-ch,HS-CRP had no significant effect on the change of the plaque size after treatment.Conclusion: 1.Percutaneous ultrasound treatment can reduce the size of carotid atherosclerotic plaque.2.The effect of percutaneous ultrasound assisted drug treatment of plaque is better.3.The thickness of carotid atherosclerotic plaque before treatment are the influence factor of the curative effect.Gender,age,BMI,history of diabetes,history of hypertension,history of cerebral infarction,smoking history,TC,FIB,TG,Hcy,HDLch,D-dimer,LDL-ch,HS-CRP had no significant effect on the curative effect.
