| ObjectiveTo explore the outcome of pregnant women with cesarean section scar defect.Methods1664 cases of pregnant woman with at least one cesarean section history delivere in the Women’s Hospital School Of Medicin Zhejiang University from January 2014 to December 2016 were divided into two groups:cesarean scar defect group(n = 228)and common group(n = 1436)according to non-pregnant or early pregnancy imaging data.Comparing their maternal and neonatal outcome.SPSS 20 were used for statistical analysis.ResultsThere were no significant differences in the maternal age,the times of previous cesarean section, the interval of two pregnancies between the two groups. There were 5 cases accepted a trail of labor after cesarean section and 223 cases accepted repeat cesarean section in the cesarean scar defect group. Each two situations was 27 cases and 1411 cases in the common scar group. For the cases accepted cesarean section, the cesarean scar defect group has a thinner lower uterine muscle thickness and shorter pregnancy days and higher abnormalities of lower uterine segment observed during surgery compared with common group, the differences was statistical significant. While the pelvic adhesion rate, placenta previa rate, postpartum hemorrhage rate.Fetal weight, apgar score, neonatal asphyxia rate was not statistical differences. There was no significant difference in the outcome of trail of labor after cesarean section between cesarean scar defect group and common group.ConclusionUterine scar defect patients have a higher risk of uterine rupture, the maternal and neonatal outcome has no significant differences with common group when strict management were carried out. |
