Objective:To observe expression of IGF-1,DLL4 and VEGF in endometriosis tissue,and to explore its significance in the development and progression of endometriosis.Methods:Forty patients' files with endometriosis phenomenon(excluding ovarian cysts and uterine fibroids)were enrolled in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2016.Among them,23 cases of ectopic endometrium,17 cases of eutopic endometrium.10 cases of normal endometrial paraffin-embedded specimens with uterine resection were chosen for further research(excluding adenomyosis and other gynecological diseases).The expression of IGF-1,DLL4 and VEGF in endometriosis was detected by immunohistochemical staining of SP method.Results:(1)The positive rates of IGF-1 expression in eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of normal endometrium and endometriosis were 40.00%,72.59%and 82.61%respectively.Compared with normal endometrium,The positive rate of IGF-I expression in ectopic endometrium was significantly higher than that in eutopic endometrium(P<0.05).(2)The positive rate of DLL4 expression in eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of normal endometrium and adenomyosis were 50.00%,82.35%and 82.61%respectively.Compared with eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium,The positive rate of DLL4 expression in ectopic endometrium was significantly higher(P<0.05).(3)The positive rates of VEGF expression in the endometrium and ectopic endometrium of normal endometrium and adenomyosis were 40.00%,76.47%and 78.26%respectively.Compared with the eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium,The positive rate of VEGF expression in ectopic endometrium was significantly increased(P<0.05).(4)In ectopic group and eutopic groups,DLL4,IGF-1 and VEGF protein was a positive correlation between the two(P<0.05)and in normal group,three kinds of proteins were no correlation between two(P>0.05)Conclusion:(1)IGF-1,DLL4 and VEGF may play an important role in the development and progression of endometriosis.(2)There may be synergistic effects between IGF-1,DLL4 and VEGF in the development of endometriosis.(3)The expression of IGF-1,DLL4 and VEGF in endometrial tissue is not influenced by cyclic changes in hormones.
