Magnetic Resonance Imaging Study Of Degenerative Spondylolisthesis Cartilage Endplate Changes

Objective Study on degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis patients cartilage endplate changes by Magnetic resonance imaging,and Compare the differences between normal and degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis intervertebral disc endplate.Then analysis of the relationship between degeneration and degenerative spondylolisthesis of the cartilage endplate.Methods 82 cases of patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis who were diagnosed as L4 or L5 by clinical imaging examination(X-ray,CT,MRI)were enrolled in this study.The patients were aged from 45 to 65 years old.They were divided into L4 spondylolisthesis group and L5 spondylolisthesis group(L4 spondylolisthesis group(n =60)and L5 spondylolisthesis group(n = 22),of which there were 18 males and64 females.At the same time,we selected 30 cases of normal lumbar structure and function of intact controls,7 males,23 females,aged 45 to 65 years old,who are healthy,no lumbar disease,and chronic systemic disease.There was no significant difference in gender and age between the patients and the normal group.T2 weighted magnetic resonance imaging was performed in all patients with L4/L5 and L5/S1 discs at the median sagittal position.In this study,224 intervertebral discs were scanned,and the cartilage endplate was 448.Carestream scanning imaging was used to amplify and enhance the scanning images,and to measure the inclination of the anterior half endplate and the posterior endplate angle of each intervertebral disc.The ratio of the anterior half angle to the posterior half angle was calculated as the variance of the endplate.The difference of the variation rate of the endplate of intervertebral disc between the spondylolisthesis group and the normal group was compared.The experiment uses MS Excel 365 for data collation and mapping,IBM SPSS 22 for data analysis.Classification data comparison with X2,measurement data using the mean + standard deviation(x + s)that.The various indexes were normality test,the results are good,between the two groups of normal distribution of measurement data were compared with the mean of two independent samples t test,the group index compared with paired t test,the test level was a =0.05;the differences between the three groups of parameters were compared by analysis of variance.Results In L4 lumbar spondylolisthesis group,there were statistically significant differences between the upper and lower endplates of the L4/L5 and the normal group.In L5 lumbar spondylolisthesis group,there were statistically significant differences between the upper and lower endplates of the L5/S1 and the normal group;and significant differences were found among the upper and lower endplates of the L5/S1.Among all the subjects,between the upper and lower endplate of L4/L5,significant differences were found.In addition to the above,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion Degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis can slip stage cartilage endplate degeneration.At the same time,the degree of degeneration of the anterior and posterior endplate of the same cartilage plate was asymmetric: the degree of degeneration of the posterior endplate of the upper endplate was more serious than that of the anterior half plate.No significant effect on non degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis spondylolisthesis stage cartilage endplate degeneration.
