Clinical Research Of Qushi Sanjie Decoction On Chronic Gout With Syndrome Of Phlegm-Stasis Obstruction

ObjectiveObserve clinical efficacy and safety of Qushi Sanjie Decoction on chronic gout with syndrome of phlegm-stasis obstruction.Methods60 cases were collected from the outpatient and inpatient conforming to the condition of gouty arthritis and were divided into 2 groups by simple randomization with 30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group.The treatment group was given Qushi Sanjie Decoction jointing sodium bicarbonate:Yiyiren 30g,Fuling 30g,Bixie 30g,Zexie 30g,Baizhu 15g,Guizhi 10g,Zhebeimu 15g,Shancigu 15g,Zelan 15g,Lulutong 20g,Quanxie 5g(decocted first for 30 minutes),Gancao 6g,1 dosage daily,with water decocting of 400ml in each dosage,twice a day taken in the morning and evening,Sodium bicarbonate 1g,oral administration,three times a day.The control group was given allopurinol tablets jointing sodium bicarbonate:Allopurinol tablets 100mg,oral administration,three times a day;Sodium bicarbonate 1g,oral administration,three times a day.The treatment course was 8 weeks.The therapeutic effect index such as scores of Chinese medicine features,uric acid(UA),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),and the safety index such as blood analysis,urine routine examination and hepatic-renal function in the two groups before and after the treatment were recorded respectively and were analyzed statistically to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Qushi Sanjie Decoction.ResultsThe data such as gender,age,body weight,course of disease,scores of Chinese medicine features,UA,ESR,CRP in the two groups before the treatment showed no obvious difference.The index all have comparability(P>0.05).After treating for 8 weeks,there is significant difference in the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine in the two groups(P<0.05).After treating for 4 and 8 weeks,the treatment group shows significant difference in the decreasing of uric acid level compared with that before the treatment(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,there is no significant difference after treating for 4 weeks(P>0.05),while there is remarkable difference after treating for 8 weeks(P<0.01).The difference in the decreasing of erythrocyte sedimentation rate before and after the treatment is significant(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,it shows statistical difference(P<0.01),In the aspect of decreasing CRP,there is significant difference before and after the treatment(P<0.01).Compared with the control group after treating for 8 weeks,there is remarkable difference(P<0.01).The treatment group shows obvious difference in the aspect of scores of Chinese medicine features after treating for 4 and 8 weeks compared with those before the treatment(P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the decreasing of scores of Chinese medicine features in the treatment group has statistical difference(P<0.01).After 4 and 8 weeks treatment,compared with before treatment,joint pain,joint pain,joint swelling score changes,there were significant differences in(P<.0.01);compared with the control group,there were significant differences in(P<0.05);to improve the joint activity and chalkstone integral,compared with before treatment,no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);and compared to the control group,no significant difference(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the recurrence rate and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the change of safety index(liver and kidney function)(P>0.05).ConclusionQushi Sanjie Decoction can obviously improve clinical symptoms and signs of gout patients with syndrome of phlegrm-stasis obstruction,joint pain,joint pai,joint swelling and other symptoms,the curative effect is better than the control group;reduce uric acid level and ESR,CRP inflammation index,compared with the control group,significantly better than the control group;treatment with low recurrence rate than the control group,the overall efficiency is better than the control group had no obvious adverse reactions.Therefore,Qushi Sanjie Decoction has characteristics with good efficacy and less adverse reactions in the treatment of gout with phlegm-stasis obstruction,which is worth studying further and spreading in the clinical application.
