Clinical Observations Of Electroacupuncture With Different Frequencies On The Treatment Of Abdominal Obesity

ObjectiveThis clinical observation has aabdominal obesity people as the research subject.The process is for the patients to take the abdominal acupuncture needle and undergo high frequency electroacupuncture treatment methods and then take the abdominal acupuncture needle with low frequency electroacupuncture and then finally compare the two kinds of therapy.Then set the required weight,BMI,waist circumference,abdominal circumference,four observation indexes.Then compare the abdominal needle with high frequency electroacupuncture therapy and abdominal puncturing and the clinical curative effect of low frequency electric acupuncture therapy.Then there will be evaluation of different frequency electroacupuncture treatments for their clinical curative effect for the treatment of abdominal obesity.MethodsThis experiment contains 60 patients with abdominal obesity who were randomly divided into 2 groups,30 cases in each group.The high frequency electroacupuncture group treated with an electroacupuncture frequency of 100 hz of continuous wavelength and the low frequency electroacupuncture group undergoes 15 hz frequency continuous wavelength treatment.From the two groups,the abdominal acupuncture points used were mainly:TO take acupuncture points by zhong wan,shuifen?qihai,guan yuan,then on both sides take tianshu?wailing?huaroumen?daheng?fujie?zhangmen,daimai? Both groups were using crown brand disposable acupuncture needles on abdominal acupuncture points with specifications of 0.35 x25 mm for each acupuncture needle,with the lower limbs acupuncture points having specifications of 0.35 x 50 mm for each acupuncture needle.Acupuncture method is the same in both groups;acupuncture points after routine disinfection,in accordance with the first order from top to bottom to pierce the zhongwan?shuifen?qihai,guanyuan which belong with ren meridian acupuncture points.Then into bilateral tianshu?wailing?huaroumen?daheng?fujie?zhangmen,daimai,with pulse acupuncture points in order.Firstly do upper abdominal acupuncture points,then go up and down after lower abdominal acupuncture points,then according to the continuation of the order go to the belly,inside of the acupuncture points.Piercing depth of about 0.5 inches(to the subcutaneous fat layer),After abdominal lateral acupuncture.Finally,pierce the double zusanli?fenglong points,Lower Extremity Point are equal and deep enough to obtain a feeling of needling sensation.After the acupuncture,choose Hua Tuo brand SDZ-V Model Electroacupuncture instrument,take tianshu and huaroumen as a group of Electroacupuncture,take daheng and fujie as a group of Electroacupuncture,take zhangmen and daimai as a group of Electroacupuncture,which of one group of bilateral with a total of 6 electric acupuncture groups,the patients' degree of tolerance should hold strong for 30 minutes.Administer the rest of the acupuncture points for the remaining needle treatment,also for 30 minutes.Both groups receive 1 course of daily treatment,treatment time lasts for 30 minutes every time,there is continuous treatment 5 times a week before a rest of two days;a total of 30 times treatment.They should be assessed every 5 times to find each patient's body weight,body mass index(BMI),waist change and waist difference.All of the data is used to make a final statistical analysis.Results(1)After a course of treatment for 30 times,in high-frequency electroacupuncture group,8 cases was recovered,12 cases markedly effective,6 cases effective,4 cases ineffective,the total effective rate is 86.67%,in low-frequency electroacupuncture group,4 cases was recovered,13 cases markedly effective,6 cases effective,7 cases ineffective,the total effective rate is 76.67%?(2)After 30 times of treatment,two groups of body weight were both lower than that before,Each group's body weight reducing was different Compared within,P<0.05?After 30 times of treatment,Comparison between the two groups' weight losser there were no differences,Statistical results showed that t=1.69,p=0.097> 0.05?(3)After 30 times of treatment,two groups' s BMI were both lower than that before,Each group's BMI reducing was different Compared within,P<0.05?There was no significant difference in BMI compared between the two groups after 30 times of treatment,t= 0.626,p=0.534>0.05?(4)After 30 times of treatment,two groups' s waist circumference were both lessen than that before,Each group's waist circumference was different Compared within,P<0.05?Statistical results also showed there were significantly difference on waist circumference lessen that compared between the two groups after 30 times of treatment(t=2.99,P=0.004,P<0.01)?(5)After 30 times of treatment,two groups ' abdominal circumference were both lessen than that before,Each group's waist circumference was different that Compared within,P < 0.05 ?Statistical results also showed there were significantly differences on abdominal circumference lessen that compared between the two groups after 30 times of treatment(t=3.10,p=0.003,P<0.01)? Conclusions(1)The abdominal obesity patients were treated with abdominal acupuncture plus high electroacupuncture and abdominal acupuncture plus low electroacupuncture.The two treatment methods could reduce the weight of the patients and decrease the BMI,abdominal circumference and waist circumference.But there was no significant difference between the two groups in the reducing body weight and body mass index.(2)High-frequency electroacupuncture group has the advantage of reducing waist circumference than lowfrequency electro acupuncture group.(3)High-frequency electroacupuncture group has the advantage of reducing abdominalcircumference than low frequency electroacupuncture.(4)In the first 10 times of reducing waist circumference and abdominal circumference high-frequency electroacupuncture treatment on most patients showed a remarkable effect,while from the 10 th time to 20 th time with a plateau level,20 times later waist circumference began to reduce remarkably.
