Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety by observing clinical curative effect of triple surgery combined with acupuncture in the treatment of rectal prolapse.Methods:44 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group 22 cases in each group.These patients were met the diagnostic criteria for rectal prolapse and were not effective after months of regular conservative treatment.Treatment group were treated by rectal prolapse columnar mucosa ligation, rectal prolapse mucosa punctate injection and anal tightening operation triple surgery, combined with acupuncture and moxibustion for 7 days at Changqiang point, Chengshan acupuncture point, moxibustion at Baihui, Zusanli.Results:There were no statistical significance in postoperative urinary retention, rectum prolapse, anal wet itching (P>0.05).There were some differences in pain from the 3rd day to the 7th day(P<0.05).The treatment group was less pain ful.There are differences between the two groups in postoperative defecation, anal bulge sense (P<0.05)in the seventh day.The treatment group were better than the control group. Therewere some differences in anorectal manometry after operation of 30 days(P<0.05).The treatment group has an advantage to promote the recovery of anal function after operation compared with the control group.Conclusion:There were no big differences between triple operation with acupuncture in the treatment of rectal prolapse or without it.But it is important in postoperative pain, defecation, anal bulge and anorectal pressure.It can promote the recovery of postoperative anal function of patients, and improve the quality of Patient' life.
