Objective:To investigate the distribution of type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM)and its influencing factors by investigating the prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM)in residents over 50 years old in residents of Qingtang Community Health Service Center in Suzhou Gusu District. This provides a good clue for the prevention and treatment of type 2 diabetes in the region.Combined with clinical and community work content, develop a reasonable and personalized treatment program.Method:Data collection From March to October in 2015,the data of physical examination and laboratory examinations were collected from the resident population over 50 years old in Qingtang Community Health Service Center of Suzhou Gusu District,Including height, weight, blood pressure, waist circumference, blood routine, fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglyceride and alanine aminotransferase and other indicators.Screening out those who have diabetes indicators, and by reviewing these people and access to health records to see if they have a history of diabetes, which find out new cases of diabetic patients as a case group. The subjects who did not have diabetics were selected as the non-diabetic group. The general situation and anxiety of the subjects were investigated by questionnaire, including sex, age, educational level, smoking, alcohol consumption and family history of diabetes.Use Epidata 3.1 to establish database input data.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 18.0.P<0.05 indicates a statistically significant difference.Result:In this study,81 cases of diabetes in line with the conditions.Among them,18 males,63 females, male to female ratio of 0.29:1.Non-diabetic group of 324 cases, including 61 males and 263 females, male to female ratio of 0.23:1.There was no significant difference in age and sex between the diabetic group and the non-diabetic group.1.Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension,BMI,education, smoking, drinking, family history of diabetes, anxiety, alanine aminotransferase, triglyceride, total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol were associated with diabetes mellitus(P<0.05).2.Multivariate analysis showed that the OR(95%CI)of BMI,triglyceride and alanine aminotransferase were 1.290(1.177-1.414)and 1.949(1.272-2.987)and 1.047(1.020-1.075),respectively,(P<0.05).With the increase of BMI,triglyceride and alanine aminotransferase levels, the risk of diabetes also increased(trend test P<0.05).3.The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the OR(95%CI)of hypertension, anxiety and family history of diabetes were 2.850(1.413-5.748)2.849(1.109-7.318)and 2.608(1.691-4.022)(all P<0.05).4.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that OR was 0.545 in education level and diabetes mellitus, which was significant(P<0.05).Compared with the lowest educational level, the OR(95%CI)of high school students and college students were 0.195(0.040-0.945)and 0.028(0.002-0.341)respectively,which were statistically significant(P<0.05);And with the increase of education level, the risk of diabetes decreased(trend test P<0.05).in conclusion:1.The levels of triglyceride, total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and alanine aminotransferase in diabetic group were higher than those in non-diabetic group, the difference was statistically significant.2.Elevated levels of BMI,triglycerides, and alanine aminotransferase are associated with the risk of diabetes. And with the BMI,triglyceride and alanine aminotransferase levels increased, the risk of T2DM also increased. There is a dose response.3.Hypertension,anxiety and family history of diabetes mellitus are risk factors of T2DM.The research suggests that attention should be paid to people's mental health status, and unhealthy emotions should be dispelled in time.4.High level of education is a protective factor for diabetes, and there is dose-response relationship. The research suggests that higher education can reduce the risk of T2DM,and should pay attention to the publicity and education of T2DM.
