The study with Lycium Barbarum for the extraction of the polysaccharides and the preparation of Lycium Barbarum polysaccharides(LBP) tablets. In addition, we established quality standards of the tablets, and also studied the anti-fatigue and hypoglycemic activity of LBP.The preparation of the wolfberry polysaccharides were the Lycium Barbarum100 g, add water 1 L, heated to reflux for 2.0 h, cooled to room temperature, 120 mesh filtration. After adding water extract evaporated five times of the amount of 95%ethanol, stirring, 4 ? refrigerator overnight, centrifuged to remove the supernatant,the precipitate was dried under reduced pressure.During the study of anti-fatigue activity of LBP, LBP can significantly prolong the mice exercise time and improve exercise capacity viaincreasing SOD and GSH-Px activities, decreasing MDA and ROS content, reducing the accumulation of free radicals.In addition, LBP also could increase the levels of liver glycogen and muscle glycogen in mice, indicating that LBP have markedly anti-fatigue activity.During the study of prevention and treatment for the alloxan-induced diabetes of LBP, LBP could decrease the blood glucose value, increase insulin secretion and enhance antioxidant capacity for scavenging oxygen free radicals, then reduced the damage of oxygen free radicals to pancreatic islet B cells, meanwhile LBP could significantly increase glycogen content in diabetic mice. Above all, LBP has the ability of prevention and treatment for the alloxan diabetes.During the study of LBP tablet, the particle, appearance, weight difference,disintegration time and hardness of the tablet were studied.
