The Clinical Observation Of The Jianpi Yishen Party Joint Growth Hormone For The Treatment Of Dwarfism Children

ObjectiveThis paper is to study the clinical curative effect of the Jianpi Yishen party joint growth hormone on the treatment of spleen and kidney deficiency type of dwarfism children,to observe its effect on promoting the growth of children height,and TCM syndrome integral,such as weight,appetite,sleep,etc.Meanwhile,we also compared the curative effect of combination treatment with growth hormone treatment alone on the treatment of spleen and kidney deficiency type of dwarfism children,to evaluate the advantage of integrating therapy of Chinese and Western medicine on the treatment of dwarfism,providing evidence-based basis for modern research on dwarfism children treatment and exploring new train of thought.MethodsThe experimental group was orally administrated boil-free granule of TCM,i.e.Jianpi Yishen party,and subcutaneously injected with recombinant human growth hormone simultaneously;the control group only subcutaneously injected with recombinant human growth hormone.After 12 months course of treatment,the variations in height and TCM syndrome integral before and after treatment for 3 months,6 months and 12 months were compared between the experimental group and the control group.Results1.Before treatment,the height of the experimental group and the control group was 120.83±4.82?121.20±4.87 respectively,no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),and the control group on average height is higher than the experimental group;after treatment,the height was 130.40±4.43?129.00±4.70 respectively,no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),but the average height of the experimental group higher than the control group.2.Before treatment,the average height growth per month was 0.30±0.09?0.30 ± 0.08 respectively,no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);after treatment,the average height growth per month was 0.80±0.06.0.65±0.06 respectively,there is statistically significant difference(P<0.01);whereby after 3 month treatment,the average height growth per month was 0.67±0.13?0.68±0.13 respectively,no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);after 6 month treatment,the average height growth per month was 0.73±0.1.0.64±0.07 respectively,and after 12 month treatment,the average height growth per month was 0.89 ± 0.14?0.64 ± 0.08 respectively,there are statistically significant difference(P<0.01).3.Before treatment,the average height growth per year was 3.59±1.04?3.60±1.01 respectively,no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);after treatment,the average height growth per year was 9.57±0.76?7.8±0.71 respectively,there is statistically significant difference(P<0.01);whereby after 3 month treatment,the average height growth per year was 8.05±1.57?8.10±1.55 respectively,no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);after 6 month treatment,the average height growth per year was 8.79±1.24?7.66±0.81 respectively,and after 12 month treatment,the average height growth per year was 10.72±1.65?7.72±0.94 respectively,there are statistically significant difference(P<0.01).4.Before treatment,the total TCM syndrome integral was 18.34±1.1?18.35±1.23 respectively,the major TCM syndrome integral was 5.75±0.44?5.78±0.42 respectively,the minor TCM syndrome integral was 12.59± 1.09?12.58±1.17 respectively,no statistically significant difference for all(P>0.05);after 3 month treatment,the total TCM syndrome integral was 15.48±1.13?15.90±1.08 respectively,the major TCM syndrome integral was 3.41±0.76?3.40±0.67 respectively,the minor TCM syndrome integral was 12.07±0.93?12.50± 1.11 respectively,no statistically significant difference for all too(P>0.05);after 6 month treatment,the total TCM syndrome integral was 11.50±1.23?15.00±1.04 respectively,the major TCM syndrome integral was 2.48±0.51?2.88±0.33 respectively,the minor TCM syndrome integral was 9.02±1.09.12.13±0.91 respectively,and after 12 month treatment,the total TCM syndrome integral was 7.32±1.23.14.85±1.31 respectively,the major TCM syndrome integral was 1.86±0.35?2.80±0.46 respectively,the minor TCM syndrome integral was 5.45 ± 1.21?12.05 ± 1.28 respectively,there are statistically significant difference for all(P<0.01).ConclusionGrowth hormone have a clear but limited effect for children with dwarfism,and it is not good enough on improving the TCM syndrome integral items,such as the weight,diet,mood,sleep,defecate;while Jianpi Yishen party could effectively improve the these symptoms of the spleen and kidney deficiency type of dwarfism children,the growth effect is much better when combination treatment with growth hormone,especially within treatment of 6months or more.
