Acupoint Catgut Embedding Combined With Leflunomide On The Curative Effect Of Rheumatoidarthritis Patients Were Observed In 78 Cases

Objective :To study the curative effects of acupoint catgut embedding combined with Leflunomide in 78 cases of RA.Methods: 78 cases of RA were selected from department of rheumatology Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in Wuhan City by using random number table selection methods from October 2014 to October 2016.78 cases of RA were randomly divided into the study group(40 cases)and the control group(38 cases).The control group received the routine western oral medicine of Leflunomide Tablets treatment,and the dosage and frequency were in strict accordance with the instructions specified,with 16 weeks of treatment;the study group underwent acupoint catgut embedding therapy in strict accordance with the syndrome differentiation on different patients on the basis of the control group,with 16 weeks of treatment.The curative effects before and after treatment were compared between the two groups(including clinical symptoms and signs,DAS28,ESR,CRP),and the ALT,AST,Cr and other indicators were closely monitored to ensure the safety of RA patients in the two groups.Results :After 16 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate in the study group 97.50%(39/40)was significantly higher than in the control group 81.58%(31/38)(P<0.05);those indexes of rest pain,arthralgia,arthroncus and HAQ of the two groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and those indexes in the study group was significantly lower than in the control group after treatment(P<0.05)and besides,the DAS28 score in the study group was significantly lower than in the control group after treatment(P<0.05);the levels of ESR and CRP of the two groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05)and those levels in the study group was significantly lower than in the control group after treatment(P<0.05).The ALT,AST,PLT,WBC and other safety indicators of the two groups showed no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: The simple oral treatment of Leflunomide Tablets in the treatment of RA patients have general curative effects,with adverse reactions of abdominal pain,abdominal distension,mild diarrhea and others,while oral Leflunomide Tablets combined with acupoint catgut embedding had definite therapeutic effects,which can reduce the incidence rate of gastrointestinal tract and other adverse reactions foe maximum degree,so it is worthy of further promotion and application in clinic.
