| Objective: To observate the clinical efficacy of Alzheimer disease of spleen deficiency and sputum resistance type which treated with modified Wenpi Tongluo Kaiqiao decoction,and evaluate the effectiveness and Safety.Methods: A total of 60 patients with Alzheimer disease met the inclusion criteria,divided into the treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30cases)randomly.Among them,the treatment group was treated with Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets oral treatment and modified Wenpi Tongluo Kaiqiao decoction,control group was only treated with donepezil hydrochloride treatment.The clinical efficacy were assessed by the MMSE,the ADL score and the TCM symptom score of two groups before and two months after treatment.Results:(1)The total effective rate of the treatment group(84.6%)was higher than that of the control group(70.4%),both two interventions were effective and differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05),(2)the mean±SD of MMSE score in the treatment group(24.54±2.23 points)was higher than that in the control group(22.93±2.28 point-s),difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),(3)the mean±SD of ADL score in the treatment group(35.04 ± 5.88 points)was lower than that in the control group(38.11 ± 5.17 points),difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),(4)Compared to the control group,The TCM symptoms of the treatment group were significantly reduced,including intelligence decline,dizziness and exhausting,anorexia and nausea,shortness of breath and tired of talking,yellow complexion and loose stool(P<0.05),(5)Both of the two groups didn't have obvious side effects.Conclusions: This study showed that modified Wenpi Tongluo Kaiqiao Prescription and oral donepezil treatment had significant clinical efficacy in Alzheimer disease,which can be safe and reliable to improve the cognitive ability of patients obviously. |
