A Clinical Research Into Acupotomology Combined With Joint Mobilization For The Treatment Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

Objective: To observe and compare the acupotomology combined with maitland joint mobilization and conventional electric acupuncture combined with massage therapy clinical curative effect and difference of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type, combined with of acupotomology maitland joint mobilization to evaluate the clinical curative effect of treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type, for the clinical treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type.Methods:Will be included in the standard of 80 subjects were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.40 cases in each group, the treatment group with acupotomology combined with maitland joint manipulation therapy, the control group using conventional electric acupuncture combined with massage therapy. To observe and compare the two groups in clinical general curative effect, the VAS visual analogue scale and index of NDI score differences between cervical dysfunction.Results:(1)Overall clinical curative effect: the total effective rate and cure rate, the two groups after treatment, the rate by chi-square test, there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).(2)VAS visual analogue scale:two groups after treatment VAS visual analoguescale are reduced, but the treatment group reduced significantly, compared with control group, with significant difference (P<0.05).(3)Cervical dysfunction index NDI score:two groups after treatment cervical dysfunction index NDI score decreases, but the treatment group reduced sig nificantly, compared with control group, with significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)Acupotomology combined with maitland joint mobilization and conventional electric acupuncture combined with massage therapy treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis god, two methods all have certain curative effect, and no obvious difference on the overall clinical efficacy.(2)Acupotomology combined with maitland joint mobilization in the relief of the pain of patients with cervical spondylosis of nerve root type is superior to the conventional electric acupuncture combined with massage therapy.(3)Acupotomology combined with maitland joint mobilization in patients with cervical spondylosis of nerve root type of cervical activity is superior to the conventional electric acupuncture combined with massage therapy.(4)Acupotomology combined with maitland joint mobilization is a safe and effective for the treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type method, especially in pain relief, to improve the function of neck disorders curative effect is distinct, worthy of further clinical research and extension.
