A Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial Of Moving Cupping And Wiping On Hechelu To Treat The Asdthenic Splenonephro-yang Diabetes Depression

Objective:Evaluate the clinical efficacy of asdthenic splenonephro-yang diabetes depression by moving cupping on Hechelu together with wiping method therapy.Methods:Adopting the method of multicenter randomized controlled trail,180 cases were randomly divided into two groups, which are the treatment group (treated by moving cupping on Hechelu with rubbing method) and the control group (treated with prozac), the treatment group had 91 cases and the control group had 89 cases. All the patients were treated with regular drug therapy to reduce the hyperglycemia. At the same time, thess cases in the treatment group would have other treatment with moving cupping and wiping on hechelu every other day, and others in the control group would take the medicine named prozac everyday. There are four weeks of treatment, and the follow-up time was six weeks later. The TCM syndromes scale, HAMD, SF-36 and BDI would be used to evaluate the effect.Results:(1) Baseline analysis:age, course, sex, the TCM syndromes scale, HAMDx SF-36 and Beck Depression Inventory scale were of no statistic significance before the treatment. (2)The TCM syndromes scale:the total effectiveness of the treatment group is 90.48%, and the control group is 68.75%. Compared with pre-treatment, both the two groups were statistically significant(P?0.01), it indicate that the scores were prominent reduction both the two groups, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05), it indicate that the treatment group is better than the control group. (3)HAMD scale:Compared with pre-treatment, both the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.01), it indicate that the scores were prominent reduction both the two groups, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05), it indicate that the treatment group is better than the control group. (4)SF-36 scale:The differences in SF dimention of the control group was statistically significant(P<0.01), it indicate that the score was prominent rise in the control group, and in SF dimention of the treatment group was not statistically significant(P?0.05); in other dimentions, the scores both the two groups were statistically significant compared with pre-treatment(P<0.01), it indicate that the scores were prominent rise both the two groups. After the treatment,differences in PF? PE and SF dimentions between two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05); while differences in other dimentions between two groups were statistically significant(P?0.01), it indicate that the treatment group is better than the control group. At the follow-up time, differences in SF dimention between two groups were not statistically significant(P?0.05); while differences in other dimentions between two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05), it indicate that the treatment group is better than the control group. (5) Beck Depression Inventory scale:Compared with pre-treatment, both the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05), it indicate that the scores were prominent reduction both the two groups. After the treatment, the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P?0.05), it indicate that the treatment group is better than the control group. At the follow-up time, differences between two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05). (6)Safety index:The blood sugar of two groups is stable, the test of blood, urine, liver and kindey function had no abnormal. And the subjects in treatment group had no adverse reaction.There are 7subjects in the control group had some slight gastrointestinal tract reaction, such as nausea sick naupathia.Conclusion:Both the groups have efficacy of asdthenic splenonephro-yang diabetes depression, the treatment group is better than the control group to improve the TCM syndromes and lower scores of HAMD and Beck Depression Inventory scale. What's more, the method of moving cupping and wiping on Hechelu is easier to be accepted by patients, so it is worth of spreading in the clinical.
