Objective:By investigating the medical equipment management of a classified 3A Grade Hospital in Qiqihar City, this paper analyzes and evaluates the implementation status of management system, management experience and problems at personnel allocation, operation, maintenance, scrap processing of medical equipment management of this hospital. The study discusses the new method of solving problems by combining the hospital’s practical situation and provide evidence to help the government and relevant industries making targeted policies and measures.Method:This research mainly investigates and evaluates the management status of 96 medical equipment management staffs and operators in a classified 3A Grade Hospital in Qiqihar by means of questionnaires. At the end of the survey, the effective questionnaires were used to establish the data base. The data were recorded using Epidata 3.1 software. The data were processed and analyzed by SPSS19.0.Results:Among 96 management staff investigated, 60.4% of them are male staff, 39.6%of them are female staff. Among the people investigated, 60 people are engineers, 9people are senior engineers, others 51 are primary engineers and intermediate engineers. Among them, 52 staff members have bachelor’s degrees and only 6 are master’s degrees, meanwhile 38 people have college degree or below and there is no doctor degree. Among them, the number of who have worked for 10 years and below is 55 and 16 people have worked for 21 years or more. At the same time, 32.3 percent of the staff members are between 31 and 40 years of age, and 16 of them are aged 51 and over. Management staff for medical equipment are satisfied with the medical equipment management system so people with ‘great satisfaction’ and‘satisfaction’ takes 96.9%; at evaluating the executing situation of maintenance system, people with ‘very strict’ and ‘strict’ takes 85.4%. At timeliness of medical equipment maintenance, people with ‘very timely’ and ‘timely’ takes 95.8%. Among the medical equipment management staff of a classified 3A Grade Hospital in Qiqihar City, staff often participate in training accounted for 42.7%, never participated in training accounted for 8.3%.Conclusions:1. The management system, purchase system, lease system, storage system and scrap processing system are all more complete for medical equipment of a classified3 A Grade Hospital in Qiqihar City. Other hospitals could use it for reference.2. The management system, purchase system, lease system, storage system and scrap processing system are executed well for medical equipment of a classified 3A Grade Hospital in Qiqihar City.3. The management system for non-conforming medical equipment is not published widely for medical equipment of a classified 3A Grade Hospital in Qiqihar City, medical equipment management staff know a little about non-conforming medical equipment management system. |
