Management Of Medical Scientific Research Equipments For The A Institute

Compared with the quality control of medical equipment, the research of medical equipment management system has not yet started. The rapid growth of medical research equipment conflicts the lack of supervision between the increasingly prominent. Looking scientific equipment management theory for the scientific research institutes, to ensure data accuracy and effectiveness become medical research institutes’ urgent and important issue.There are series of problem for the A Medical Research Institute’s medical research equipment management. For example, the implementation of the equipment system was poor; the rate of the equipment sharing was low; research data accuracy needed to be improved; the maintenance mode was passive and long period, and the cost of the maintenance was high. In order to solve the problems, according to the equipment life-cycle management philosophy, a full system of Medical Research equipment management was discussed. The main work of the issue is as follow:(1) Beginning from the practical problems of the A Medical Research Institute’s medical research equipment management:inadequate management system and lower information, measures were proposed. The equipment life-cycle management was discussed, and the various stages of the process were improved. In order to improve the efficiency of the equipment management, equipments were divided into three categories to management by the ABC classification, and key equipments for Class A were discussed by Status Maintenance Model.(2) The PDCA cycle management was used, from planning, implementation, checking and processing, the four phases of the management project as a whole, or particularly, especially for the control of the measurement process. The order of operation was standardized, and good results were gained.(3) Based on the understanding of medical research equipments management system, the practical application of information technology, information system of medical research equipments was build. The pass rate and the utilization of the equipment were improved significantly. The system evaluated very well by researchers. The management reached the expectations.While some progress was made, the whole equipment management system of the A Medical Research Institute is still at the primary stage. Lots of shortcomings need to be conquered. Improvements must experience theory to practice, re-refining and sublimation from theory into practice, so the cycle process.
