AIM:Using GAS to assess the effect of acupuncture treatment of cerebral palsy.Methodology:Patients who met the inclusion were enrolled to criteria for social adaptation capacity assessment.Set the goals with parents together to solve the problems during the assessment. Training the doctors, parents and the third party to assess GAS and establish individual GAS, and use the first time. After the general data inputting to the participants, divided them randomly into"changqiang" group and Scalp group,treat them twice a week, four weeks of a course for a total of three courses of treatment.Respectively,after completion of treatment for GAS rating scale,statistical analysis of scores and get the final result.Results:1.Three courses of treatment later, "changqiang" group (57.06±6.72),scalp group (55.61±6.04),and the two groups of GAS scores have no statistical difference.2.After three courses of treatment in Baby-junior high school students ability to scale in the social life, "changqiang" group and Scalp group are similar in total score independent living ability, athletic ability, communication ability and self management ability,they were no statistically difference,p>0.05.3. Three courses of treatment later, the effect of change quantity of GAS is better than the baby-junior high school students'social life ability scale.Conclusion:1.GAS than babies-junior high school students social life ability scale more sensitive response to acupuncture"changqiang"group and scalp group in clinical curative effect of cerebral palsy.2.Acupuncture "changqiang" and Scalp group can both improve the social adaptation ability of children with cerebral palsy.
