Objective: This study analyzed children MS and its components in the difference between the Hui and Han groups, to provide the basic data to prevention children of MS in different groups in this region. And this study analyzed the correlation FTO gene rs9939609 polymorphism of Hui and Han Children MS, for providing a scientific basis to study MS pathogenesis and early prevention of MS.Methods: First, the study according the Prevalence methods to randomly Yinchuan urban area elementary, middle and high school each two schools. These six schools stratified by grade, two classes for each grade extraction, collected a total of 2365 children aged 7-18 people. We've detected the WC, SBP, DBP, FPG, TG and HDL-C levels of extracted students. Secondly, on the basis of the status of the investigation, we were according to the mutation rate and the integrity of the sample of 828 children in whole blood for DNA extraction and detection method using Mass ARRAY genetic polymorphism detection FTO gene rs9939609 site. Finally, all data were Epidata3.02 entry, and using SPSS17.0 software for statistical analysis.Results:(1)The survey total of 2365 people, including 143 MS detection, the detection rate was 6.0%. MS detection rate with age rise, 17-year-old reached the highest detection rate. The Han' MS detection rate was 6.2%, Muslim' MS detection rate was 5.7%, and the difference of them was not significant. The boys' MS detection rate was 6.9%, the girls' MS detection rate was 5.2%, and the difference of them was not significant.(2)In the MS index, an abnormal' detection rate was 35.2%, two abnormal' detection rate was 17.2%, three or more abnormal' detection rate was 6.0%. In each age group, age group differences between MS component an abnormal detection rate was statistically significant(p<0.05); Two exceptions and three or more abnormal detection rate was statistically significant in differences age, it is on the rise with age(p<0.05).(3)In MS indicators, abdominal obesity was 12.0%, abnormal blood pressure was 26.9%, impaired fasting glucose was 0.2%, TG abnormal was 23.7% and the HDL-C abnormal was 26.0%. In addition to the fasting glucose abnormal, else indicators rate of change between the ages trend(p<0.05).(4)MS indicators compare between different ethnic groups, the detection rate of abnormal blood pressure Han(28.4%) higher than the Hui(23.6%), the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05); HDL-C abnormal rate of Hui(33.9%) higher than the Han(22.4%), the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05); and other abnormalities detected no difference between in the two groups. MS indicators compare between the different gender, the TG abnormal rate was girls(25.4%) higher than boys(21.9%), the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05); the HDL-C abnormal rate was boys(27.8%) higher than girls(24.2%), the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05); other abnormalities detected no difference between boys and girls.(5)In this study, FTO rs9939609 T allele loci of 86.0%, A allele frequency of 14.0%; TT genotype frequencies of 74.2%, AT gene frequency of 23.7%, AA gene frequency is 2.1 %.(6)FTO rs9939609 genotype and allele frequency distribution of the difference between the case and control groups was not statistically significant(p>0.05).(7)In the case group,FTO rs9939609 genotype and allele frequency distribution of the difference between the Hui and Han was not statistically significant(p>0.05).(8)In the case group,FTO rs9939609 genotype and allele frequency distribution of differences between boys and girls was not statistically significant(p>0.05).(9)In MS indicators, AA / AA genotype systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and fasting blood sugar levels were higher than the TT genotype, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05); Other indicators of the level difference AT / GG and TT genotypes no statistical significance(p>0.05).Conclusion:(1)MS detection rate did not differ in ethnicity and sex.(2)MS and its indicators of abnormal' detection rates had temperature increased with age.(3)The dyslipidemia and the abnormal blood pressure wre core component of MS.(4)The FTO gene rs9939609'different genotypes and allele had nothing to do with MS.
