Objective: By Porphyromonas gingivalis single cell bacteria(Porphyromonas gingivalis PG)infected rabbit, the rabbit atherosclerotic model was established. To observe the vascular endothelial nuclear factor kappa B(NF-KB),heat shock protein 70(HSP70),interleukin 33(IL-33).To investigate the relationship between periodontal disease and atherosclerosis. Methods: After PG cultured in anaerobic environment infect rabbit atherosclerotic model was established, using hematoxylin and eosin staining method(at the time of HE staining)in detection of rabbit aortic tissue pathological changes, reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(transcription-PCR reverse,RT-PCR)observe the changes of NF-k B and HSP70 expression in rabbit arterial endothelial tissue, immunohistochemistry and Western blot were observed changes in expression of IL-33 in rabbit vascular endothelial tissue. Results: After he staining, see rabbit aorta in the experiment group was irregular thickening of the intima, large amounts of foam cells aggregation and smooth muscle cells increased, malalignment, etc.;in the RT-PCR showed, experimental group and control group comparison after found electrophoretic bands of gray value between the mean difference(P < 0.05),was statistically significant;obtained by immunohistochemical technique, the experimental group and control group between integral optical density(IOD)value.Western blot was used to detect the protein expression level contrast difference is statistically significant(P < 0.01).Conclusions : To promote sustained P.G infection induced the formation of atherosclerosis in rabbits;NF-k B,HSP70,IL-33 expression increases in rabbit aortic endothelial cells,NF KB,HSP70,IL-33 as atherosclerosis, inflammatory factor, participate in the formation and development of atherosclerosis.
