Objective: The personalized immediate dental implants were made of polylactic acid(PLA) materials via3 D printing(FDM), analysis the errors between models and natural teeth. A poly(lactic acid)(PLA)scaffold produced by 3D printing coating dopamine before and after modification aim to investigate surface properties and biological performance between 3D printed PLA scaffolds and traditional PLA scaffolds.Methods:1. The extracted orthodontic teeth(in vivo) were scanned by cone beam computed tomography(CBCT) in order to get the 3D data and build the date models by Mimics software. Then the implants were manufactured via 3D printing. These extracted teeth(in vitro) and implants were re-scanned and three dimensional deviation were compared by Geomagic software.2. The poly(lactic acid)(PLA) scaffold was prepared by 3D printing technology via digital models. The surface properties and biological performance were investigated on 3D printed PLA scaffolds and traditional PLA scaffolds before and after modification by dopamine, using the contact angle tester, SEM and XPS for surface test and MTT, immune fluorescence technique for biological detection.Result: 1. There are no obvious form defects between real teeth and personalized dental implants which were prepared by 3 D printing(FDM), The average deviation of high/low areas between date models of teeth and implants were(0.19;-0.16)mm, and the average deviation between in vitro and in vivo teeth were(0.14;-0.07)mm.2. The 3D printed PLA scaffolds were smoothed than traditional ones. After Physical characterization and cell culture test, 3D printed PLA scaffolds were modified by dopamine and purpose for mineralization had greater apatite crystals as well as homogeneous osteoblasts than traditional PLA scaffolds.Conclusion: 1, The personalized dental implants were manufactured via 3D printing(FDM)with a high degree of precision; There were certain errors between the date models of in vitro and in vivo teeth under the same CBCT parameters.2, 3D printed PLA scaffolds could gain more surface distribution of osteoblasts and higher density than traditional PLA scaffolds.
