Objective: To compare the effect of two resin adhesive systems on bond strength of glass fiber posts. Methods: 20 extracted healthy single rooted upper mandible incisors were selected, and their coronal aspects were removed. After endodontic treatment tooths randomly divided into 2 groups, 10 in each. finished canal preparation Fiber posts were cemented to root canals using resin adhesive system Para core(Group Para) and One-Step(Group One) for each group. Each teeth root was cuted into two 2mm-thick slices from root crown and apex. Made push–out test in universal testing machine with each Slice. Observe the fracture mode by stereomicroscope. Results: The bonding strength of fiber post of group Para on root crown and on root apex is(16.22±1.32),(14.13±1.43)Mpa, of group One is(14.32±1.30),(11.57±1.50) Mpa, difference shows statistically significance(P<0.05); Bonding strength of fiber post on root cown is larger than on root apex in both two groups, difference shows statistically significance(P <0.05). Adhesive failure of each group was indicated as most mode of fracture. Conclusion: Resin adhesives system Para-core gained higher bond strengths than One-Step on glass fiber posts.
