Backgrounds:With the improvement of Chinese economic level, people's pursuit of beauty is becoming more and more urgent, and as one of the facial organs, tooth is one of the most important parts of the beautiful appearance. Our country is vast in territory, so people in many areas have regional dental fluorosis. Meanwhile, when people grow older, their teeth will have age-related color, so many people are unsatisfied with their teeth's color.These people are potential teeth whitening patients. There are many treatments on discolored teeth, such as crown repairing, veneering, enamel surface micro milling operation and tooth bleaching etc.. Among these methods, tooth bleaching is the most convenient, minimally invasive, and the most commonly used.Objective:Through observing 30 cases of discoloration of the teeth bleaching treatment, I want to evaluate the application prospect, the effectiveness and the safety of tooth whitening so that I can provide better clinical treatment for tooth discoloration method.Methods:This article selects 30 patients who were treated from December 2014 to December2015 in our hospital. They were all not satisfied with the color of their teeth and received tooth whitening treatment. We used 40% hydrogen peroxide to bleach their teeth in consulting room. We did the whitening oral scaling a week before, and bleach the teeth a week later. We treated 30 cases of ordinary discolored teeth, dental fluorosis. We usedwhitening agent on the tooth surface 20 minutes a time and repeated 3 times or less every time. We measured their index before treatment and after treatment immediately. The indexes are as follows: teeth color gradation value, tooth sensitivity and the patients' feelings about their teeth. Through quantitative indicators and subjective assessment, we analyzed its efficacy, safety and indications.Results:Through the teeth whitening treatment, the 30 cases have 3 results:(1) Excellent:There are 23 cases markedly increased 5 levels than before;(2) Effective: There are 7cases improve 2 to 4 color histogram than before;(3) Noneffective: There is 0 case lift non ascending color or only lift a color than before. Among 30 cases, there are 18 cases have tooth hypersensitivity symptoms, but these slight reaction does not affect the overall health of the pulp, and can be restored within 3 days.Conclusion:In the premise of mastering tooth whitening indications, bleaching methods and operation specifications, the effect of tooth bleaching is worthy to be confirmed. The mild sensitive symptoms caused by the treatment can be accepted, and it has good prospects for clinical application.
