| Objective:To analyse the effects of the herbs for diabetes mellitus on the use of herbs for coronary heart disease by collecting the medical records of those first diagnosed corona ry heart disease and also by comparatively studying the use of the herbs for pure coronary heart disease and for coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus,so as to off er a thought for the use of the herbs for curing coronary heart disease and coronary heart di sease complicated with diabetes mellitus by the traditional Chinese medical means.Research Methods:From the Affiliated Hospital of the Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine University,we collected all the medical records of those first diagnosed coronary heart diease from September 2014 to December 2015 and set up a database.Then on basis of this database via softwears excel and spss,we analysed the level of the association of the herbs in every compound prescription,and also comparatively studied the variation of the herbs' use for pure coronary heart disease and coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus.Results:We collected 300 medical records,involving 237 items of Chinese herbs,of which the frequency was analysed up to 4650 times,among which Huangqi,Baishao,Dangshen,Honghua and the powder of Sanqi were used more often for pure coronary heart disease than for coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus,while Chuanxiong,Gualou,Huanglian,Shengdi,Huangqin,Chishao and Hujisheng were used more frequently for coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus. Classification analysis found that the qi-tonifying medicine, the phlegm-and-dampnesseliminating medicine,the qi-regulating medicine and the mind-easing medicine were used more in quantity for pure coronary heart disease than for coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus.But for coronary heart diease complicated with diabetes mellitus,the cure was based mainly on medicines such as the blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine the heat-clearing and yin-nourishing medicine and the exterior-effusing medicine.Analysis of association rules algorithms discovered 489 significant association rules among the items of medicine.Of all the herbs Chuanxiong was used most often,up to 152 times. As for pure coronary heart disease,the comptibility of Fuling and Baizhu held the highest supporting degree,and Gualou,Xiebai and Gancao gave the highest confidence level of compatibility.Meanwhile,for coronary heart disease complicated with diabetes mellitus,the compatibility of Gancao and Danshen held the highest supporting degree,and Maidong,Wuweizi and Gegen gave the highest confidence level of compatibility.Conclusion:The cure for coronary heart disease is based mainly on the qi-tonifying and phlegm-and-dampness-eliminating Chinese medicines,often matched with blood tonifying and activating medicine and qi-regulating and water-alleviating medicine.As for coronary heart diease complicated with diabetes mellitus,the basic use of the blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicine and the heat-clearing and yin-nourishing medicine is matched with the use of the qi-tonifying,phlegm-eliminating and exterior-effusing herbs. |
