Si Miao Mixture For Rheumatoid Arthritis Dampnessheat Stagnation Syndrome Clinical Curative Effect And Research On The Effects Of Serum IL-1?TNF-? Levels

Objective: This study designed to observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Si Miao Mixture in combined with methotrexate(MTX)in treating rheumatoid arthritis(RA)patients with dampness-heat stagnation syndrome.Impact analysis of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP)and serum interleukin-1(IL-1),tumor necrosis factor-?(TNF-?)values.Preliminary Discussion Simiao Mixture therapeutic effects and possible mechanisms of RA dampness-heat stagnation syndrome.Methods: 60 patients which from rheumatism disease outpatient of Henan province hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine met the criteria in accordance with RA patients were randomly divided into control and test groups,30 cases in each.The control group using methotrexate(MTX)as the basic drug.If the pain score(VAS score)> 4 points,giving the oral diclofenac sodium sustained release tablets.Experimental group was given Si Miao mixture in the control group basis.Continuous treatment for 12 weeks.Observed before and after treatment disease activity score two groups of patients,the symptom score changes,and detected and recorded IL-1,TNF-?,ESR,CRP and other indicators.SPSS l8.0 application software for data analysis and comparison of efficacy between the two groups.Results: 1.The TCM symptom effect of test group total effective rate 93.10%,the control group,the total effective rate was 71.43%,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),the test group than the control group.Two groups of patients after treatment of TCM syndrome score than before treatment decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);After treatment,TCM syndrome score comparison,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),the test group than the control group.3.After treatment,the DAS28 score of the two groups was lower than before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);After treatment,the DAS28 score of the two groups were compared,the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),the two groups had similar curative effect.3.After treatment,ESR,CRP,IL-1,TNF-? values before treatment lower,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);The two groups after treatment,ESR,CRP,IL-1,TNF-? value is lower than before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the test group was better than the control group.Conclusion: Si Miao Mixture combined with MTX and MTX alone treatment for RA with dampness-heat stagnation syndrome have a significant effect.Si Miao Mixture combined with MTX can improve the curative effect of TCM syndrome,reduce inflammation and inflammatory cytokines Prompted Si Miao Mixture may be lowered by reducing the cytokines IL-1,TNF-? levels.Thus inhibit inflammation and slow disease progression purposes.Si Miao Mixture combined with MTX can decrease side effects.
