Objective:TO observe the comparison of the clinical effect of electro-acupuncture and traditional acupuncture at Jiaji points on limb dysfunction in patients with GBS. In order to seek effective acupuncture treatment of limb dysfunction on GBS,we explore the mechanism of electro-acupuncture at Jiaji Points on the treatment of GBS, and therefore play a guiding role in clinical treatment.Method:A total of 40 eligible patients were recruited and randomly divided into 2 groups:electro-acupuncture treatment group (20 cases) and control group (20 cases). The electro-treatment group patients were given the electro-acupuncture instrument with dense wave at the corresponding Paralysis area of the Jiaji points, the control group were given traditional acupuncture at the same points. Both groups were treated once a day for 8 weeks, four weeks constituting a treating course. All the patients are graded by the Manual Muscle Test sensory function and self-care ability, analysis the alter of the motor function and sensory function after the treatment of the 2 groups, and summarize the clinical efficacy.Result:There was a significantly different (P<0.05)in the Manual Muscle Test, sensory function and ADL score of the 2 groups before and after treatment. The total effective rate of the 2 groups was not a significant difference (P>0.05), while the cure rate of the treatment group was higher than control group. Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of electro-acupuncture on GBS is better than that of the classic acupuncture.
