Application Of Auricular Analgesic Therapy In IVF-ET Transvaginal Ultrasound-guided Oocyte Retrieval

Objective:To observe the analgesic effect and safety of auricular analgesic therapy in TVOR.Methods:90 patients undergoing IVF-ET were randomly divided into three groups,group 1:auricular analgesic therapy(AA)group,group 2:Sham-AA group,group 3:control group.(1)group 1:20 minutes before the operation,the operator selectes bilateral Shenmen,uterus,and pelvic cavity,disinfecting the skin and sticking vaccaria seeds on the points.(2)group 2:set vaccaria seeds between two plasters,stick the plasters in the same ear aera with no stimulation.(3)group3: conventional oocyte retrieval operation. Record the PRI,VAS and PPI scores after and 1h after TVOR.Observe the side effects during TVOR.Test the level of β-EP in the follicular fluid obtained from TVOR.Record and compare numbers of retrieved oocyte, fertilization rates, cleavage rates and clinical pregnancy rates between three groups.Results:(1) In group 1,The PRI,PPI and VAS scores after and 1h after TVOR were apparently lower than that in group 2 and group 3(P<0.01).In group 2,the VAS and PRI scores after TVOR were a little lower than that in group 3,PRI score after TVOR in group 2 was a little higher than that in group 3, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).In group 2,the PRI and VAS scores 1h after TVOR were a little lower than that in group 3,the PPI score was higher than that in group 3,but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).(2)The β-endorphin(β-EP) concentrations in follicular fluid(FF) in group 1 was markedly higher than that in group 2 and group 3(P<0.01),the concentration in group 2 was a little higier than that in group 3,but there was no substantial difference between them(P>0.05).(3)The time spended by TVOR had no concern with pain.(4)The side effects during TVOR in group 1 were fewer than that in group 3(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the group 2 and group 3(P>0.05).(5)There was no substantial difference in numbers of retrieved oocyte,fertilization rates,cleavage rates and pregnancy rates between the three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The analgesic effect of AA in TVOR was significant while the effect of psychological factors could be excluded.Auricular analgesic therapy could help ruduce side effects in TVOR.It is a safe and effective choise of analgesia.
