Objective Through magnetic resonance tensor imaging(DTI)technology to investigate cytomegalovirus(CMV) infection caused Sensorineural hearing loss(SNHL) application value in the auditory pathway.Materials and Methods CMV infections due to hearing loss corrected age for January-March, 31 cases of infants enrolled in the case Group(bilateral hearing loss BPHL 13 cases, unilateral hearing impairment UPHL 18), 36 cases of 1-3 month without hearing loss in infants in the control group(CP), respectively, T1 scans and DTI. Mr diffusion tensor imaging technique for region of interest selection bilateral inferior colliculus(IC), the lateral lemniscus(LL) were computed under the bilateral superior and lateral lemniscus anisotropic grades(FA), mean diffusivity(MD) and axial diffusion tensor(AD), the vertical diffusion tensor(RD).Results CMV infection caused by auditory pathway of SNHL, BPHL group compared with the CP group, bilateral superior colliculus BPHL group, the lateral lemniscus FA value reduction, RD value increased(p < 0.001), side with intact side of hearing loss in UPHL group, damaged side increased FA value reduction, RD, difference is statistically significant. Damage to side with the control group, UPHL side of intact and BHPL group under the two groups in the lateral lemniscus and high contrast, lateral lemniscus UPHL FA values to reduce the damaged side group, higher BPHL group FA value reduction RD(p<0.001),inferior colliculus UPHL damaged side group increased FA value reduction, RD and BPHL RD value increased(p < 0.001). Inferior colliculus FA values and negatively correlation with the severity of hearing loss(r = 6.453, p < 0.001).Conclusion CMV infection caused by SNHL auditory pathway of white matter happened abnormal change obviously, prompt white matter myelin depigmentation/myelin dysplasia.
