Due to the improved living standard, unhealthy dietary structure and environment pollution, more people suffer from chronic renal failure. Nowadays, there is a higher demand of hemodialysis machine, the support device for kidney. Foreign expensive brands of hemodialysis machine are currently dominant in domestic market. Patients are hoping that machine can be designed and manufactured domestically. For this reason, a study on the measurement and control system of hemodialysis machine is carried out in this paper.Firstly, the principle and component of hemodialysis machine are investigated through a market survey. Based on the pros and cons of the existing brands, the fluid system and blood circulation system are designed for the new machine. Relative components are researched and the whole system is constructed according to the requirements for a hemodialysis machine.The sensor monitoring system is also designed. The principle of each sensor is studied detailedly, after that the corresponding digital control boards are manufactured and calibration tests are carried out by simulating the parameters used in actuality.Furthermore, a new control system is proposed using a module-oriented design pattern-the whole system is segmented into 6 functional subsystems. The subsystems communicate with other control board through can protocols. Meanwhile, a friendly user interface, a scheduling program for the control system as well as the program for each module are finished on the basis of usage requirements of hemodialysis machine.Lastly, the sample machine is set up according to the industry standard. Experiments are carried out to study critical parameters including flow, pressure, temperature and density.In conclusion, the paper designed the fluid system and sensor monitoring system for hemodialysis machine. A set of user interface and scheduling programs for the control system are developed. The hardware system as well as the experiment platform of the sample machine are constructed followed by relative experiments and analysis.
