At present,the chronic kidney disease has become a major disease to threaten the world's public health.The number of hemodialysis patient in China is growing year by year.Because of the particularity of hemodialysis treating,the hemodialysis equipment runs for a long time in every day,once the equipment become malfunction,the patients' treatment will be delayed or even cause detriment to patients.How to avoid misunderstandings and prevent crises before they emerge and save the time to handle the equipment malfunctions are what the hospital managers and clinical medical staffs care about.We therefore developed a preventative replacement policy and expert indicating system of troubleshooting for hemodialysis equipment.The flow pumps and degassing pumps were selected to be the examples of this study.The life data of the two parts were collected and analyzed to obtain their life distributions.The technique of mathematical modeling was used to estimate the part's life and calculate the optimal preventive replacement time.We also developed an expert indicating system of troubleshooting to provide instructions to handle the equipment malfunctions.So that the hemodialysis equipment can be ensured to operate properly and the trouble shooting can be finished in time.According to the performance test of the system,it was demonstrated that the prevent replacement strategy can accurately predicts the failure time of the equipment's important fittings,and the preventive replacement strategy model can give a reasonable replacement time,strike a balance between the economic efficiency and treatment security.Meanwhile,the expert indicating system of troubleshooting can save the time to handle the alerts and solve the problems effectively to ensure the safety of the treatment.The application of preventative replacement policy and expert indicating system of troubleshooting for hemodialysis equipments are the pioneer in the domestic and overseas.The relevant results of this study are expected to be widely used.
