Clinical Observation Of Jiaweizhizhuwan Decoction On Pediatric Functional Abdominal Pain

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jiaweizhizhuwan decoction on pediatric functional abdominal pain (spleen deficiency with food stagnation syndrome).Methods:In the research,60 cases of pediatric functional abdominal pain were randomly divided into two groups,30 cases of patients cured with Jiaweizhizhuwan decoction were defined as treatment group,30 cases of patients cured with oral liquid of Simotang were defined as control group. The treatment period was 14 days. The observation included clinical symptoms and signs, TCM syndrome scores, helping to evaluate the clinical effect of Jiaweizhizhuwan decoction.Results:1. After 14 days treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group was 90.00%, the total effective rate of control group was 76.67%, and the results had statistical significance (p<0.05),the effect of treatment group was better than the control group.2. The total TCM syndrome scores and every symptom scores of both groups became lower before treatment, and the results had statistical significance (p<0.05), the effect of treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusions:1. The total effective rate of Jiaweizhizhuwan decoction is 90.00%, Jiaweizhizhuwan decoction can effectively reduce or eliminate every symptom of the patients, and reduce TCM syndrome scores, Jiaweizhizhuwan decoction has a good clinical effect on pediatric functional abdominal pain (spleen deficiency with food stagnation syndrome).2. No kids have adverse reactions after taking Jiaweizhizhuwan decoction.
