Retrospective Study On The Treatment Of Children With Recurrent Lower Respiratory Tract Infection (Two Deficiency Of The Lung And Kidney) By Acupoint Sticking Therapy

Objective:To observe the curative effect of “Nine volts” to recurrent lower respiratory tract infection in children(two deficiency of the lung and kidney) and to e?plore the mechanism “Nine volts”.Methods:We selected 120 children who were treated by “Nine volts” in Shandong Provincial Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital between 2011 and 2014.We divided them into 1 year group, 2 year group, 3 year group based on the course of treatment,40 children in each group.All children were treated by “Nine volts” which were produced by our own hospital.The types of disease, frequency of occurrence, course of disease, symptom, sign and so on should be recorded before treatment.After the treatment,we followed up by telephone for 1 year,recorded the improvement of the observation inde ? of the children.Using statistical methods to compare, in order to verify its clinical efficacy.Results:Types, frequency, duration of disease, symptoms, signs of children in the 3 groups are improved in a certain e?tent.And the efficacy of the 3 year group by ?2 test is better than 1 years group, with statistical significance(P?0.01).There was no significant statistical difference(P > 0.05) in the 2 year group and 1 year group, 2 year group and 3 year group.The efficiency of the 3 groups were 92.5%,85%,70% respectively.Conclusion:“Nine volts” on the treatment of children with recurrent lower respiratory tract infection has a good curative effect.And the longer the treatment,the better the effect,which has important clinical practical value.
