Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction(modified) in the treatment of postoperative complications of hemorrhoids due to the deficiency and sinking of Qi.Methods: 60 cases according to the diagnostic criteria of the patients, were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group. After operation, the treatment group(n = 30) was treated with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction based on the basic therapy, while the control group(n = 30) was treated with basic therapy. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed and evaluated.Results: The clinical study showed that in the aspect of improving postoperative bleeding, pain, edema, urinary retention, anus distention and other major postoperative complications, the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion: The modified Buzhong Yiqi Decoction can effectively improve the postoperative complications of hemorrhoids due to the deficiency and sinking of Qi, better than the basic treatment and helping recovery, which is the effective prescription to prevent postoperative complications due to the deficiency and sinking of Qi.
