Objective1 To translate the Knowledge Sharing Behavior Scale into Chinese and evaluate the reliability and validity of the Knowledge Sharing Behavior Scale of Chinese version for clinical nurses in China.2 To investigate the status of knowledge sharing behavior of clinical nurses, and investigate the influence of the core competence of nurses.3 To research the method of improve clinical nurses' knowledge sharing behavior in order to provide evidence for the further interventions.MethodsAfter receiving the permission of the Knowledge Sharing Behavior Scale's author, we translated the scale into Chinese. The Chinese version of Knowledge Sharing Behavior Scale was translated from the original, back-translated and adjusted for cultural adaptation, and test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Clinical nurses' knowledge sharing behavior scale. To determine the Chinese version of knowledge sharing behavior scale for clinical nurses in china. Methods Convenience sampling was adopted to investigate 480 clinical nurses in 3-A hospitals of Hengyang with general in formation questionnaire, the competency inventory for registered nurse(CIRN) and the Chinese version of the clinical nurses' knowledge sharing behavior scale. To explore the relationship between the knowledge sharing behavior ability and CIRN. The data were collected by Epidate3.1 and analyzed by SPSS20.0 software. Statistical methods included reliability analysis, factor analysis, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, the analysis of variance and stepwise multivariate regression analysis. The standard test is a=0.05 level.Results(1)The Chinese version of clinical nurses' knowledge sharing behavior scale consisted of 19 items. Fore factors were extracted by factor analysis, which could explain 67.253% of the total variance. The Cronbach's ? of the Chinese version of Clinical nurses' knowledge sharing behavior scale was 0.923, the Guttman split-half coefficient was 0.797, the Cronbach's ? of each factor was above 0.7.(2) The scores of nursing knowledge sharing behavior was 53.12±15.76, and The average score of each item was 2.41±0.72, at medium low level. The mean scores of the dimensions of KSBS arranged in descending order as follows: written contributions, communities of practice, personal interactions and organizational communications.(3) The average scores of nursing knowledge sharing behavior and four dimensions were significant differences respectively among nurses with different ages, service years, professional titles, educational background, organizational forms, number of hospital rounds, attitude towards nursing profession and career planning.(P <0.05).(4) The mean score of knowledge sharing behavior and competency inventory for registered nurse were(2.36±0.69)and(2.78~0.55), The two variables were Positive correlation(P<0.01). Regression analysis showed that the factor scores of knowledge sharing behavior such as organizational communications, personal interactions and communities of practice could independently explain 39.9% of the variance for clinical nurses' competency inventory after controlling demographic variables.(5) The results of multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that professional title, education and the attitude of the nursing profession is the factors that affect the core competence of nurses in general information, they explained 20.6% of the variance of the regression equation. Avoid the effects of general data variables on the core competence of nurse, organizational communication, personal interaction and community practice in knowledge sharing behavior are important predictive variables of nurses' core competence, which can explain the variation of equation 39.6%.Conclusions(1) The Chinese version of clinical nurses' knowledge sharing behavior scale is reliable and valid. It is a valuable tool for evaluating the level of clinical nurses' knowledge sharing behavior in Chinese medical environment.(2) The score of nursing knowledge sharing behavior were at the medium low level.(3) The scores of knowledge sharing behavior for clinical nurses had significantly difference in terms of age, service-year, professional title, organizational form, academic degree, number of hospital rounds, attitude towards nursing profession and career planning.(4) The total score of knowledge sharing behavior scale and the scores of 4 dimensions were positively correlated with the total score of nurses' Core Competence. Nursing management could encourage clinical nurses to use a variety of ways to share knowledge, create a good atmosphere and knowledge sharing platform, to improve the core competence through improving the level of knowledge sharing behavior.
