| Objective:It is to observe the clinical effect of Cyberknife combined with Traditional Chinise Medcine(TCM) particles (Fu zheng Yi liu prescription) in the treatment for advanced primary liver cancer,and to explore the better TCM-Wester meditine program to evaluate the clinical efficacy,delay the progress of the disease,improve the quality of the patients life and prolong their lifetime, and to find the TCM principles of formulating prescription in treating the primary liver cancer in order to give clinical doctors a reference.Methods:We screened out 120 cases advanced primary liver cancer patients who be treated at the People’s Liberation Army 107 Hospital of PLA noninvasive cancer treatment center with Cyberknife,and the time was from November 2010 to November 2012.The 120 cases advanced primary lver cancer patients were randomly divided into two groups:the Cyberknife combined with TCM particles (Fu zheng Yi liu prescription) treatment group (observational group) and the Cyberknife treatment group (control group).The TCM medicine prescription:some patients take the medicine before the Cyberknife treating 1 week,some patients take the medicine the same time with the Cyberknife treating, the granules were 6g bid or tid;the decoctions were 100 ml bid or tid,the two prescription was equivalent in doses.After treatment,according to the local control of cancer patients,KPS score,radiation toxicity reaction,lifetime and other indicators,the differences of clinical effect between these two groups were comprehensive evaluated. The curative effect asessing standard was referenced to the WHO short-term efficacy of cancer therapy(effectiveness).Results:We analysised 120 patients medical record informations of the advanted primary liver cancer with 252 tumors.The most number of the target areas was 6in one plan, The Cyberknife radiation therapy volume DT was 20.6～63Gy,the mean DT was 37.65±5.03 Gy, while the median DT was 39Gy;the number of treatment was 3-5 times,while the median ia was 4 times.The follow-up period of the patients was 2 years,while the median follow-up period was 6 months.Comprehensive analysis the advanced primary liver cancer patients’radiation imaging,the review clinical symptoms and the follow-up results,The results of observational group treatment efficiency was 91.6%(55/60),while the control group treatment efficiency was 81.6% (49/60).In the aspect of the improvement of ZPS scores,the two group were both better than before treated, (the observational group before/after treating was 64.00±10.84、80.00±10.33;the control group before/after treating was 64.17±11.42、 72.00±11.60) and the observational group was bentter than the control group (P<0.05).The observational group treatment patients occurred radiotherapy toxicity in numbers(the observational group/the contol group was 188/257) and symptom levels was less than the contol group,there was significant difference between both groups ((P<0.05).In prolonging the patients survival lifetime,the observational group was better than the control group(the observational group/the contol group was 9.7/7.1),and there was also significant difference between both groups ((P<0.05)).Conclusion:Cyberkuife combined TCM particles (Fu zheng Yi liu prescription) treatment can control the advanced primary liver cancer better than the Cyberkuife treatment only.And there are also better in improving the efficacy of radiotherapy,controling the tumor changing,delaying the disease evolving,lightening the symptoms or relieving the patients’pain, improving the patients quality of life,reducing or mitigating the radiotherapy toxicity and prolonging the patients survival lifetime.And with the principles of TCM formulating prescription of tonifying spleen and mitigating stomach,nourishing blood and liver,nourishing the liver and kidney,detoxicating and dissipating the tubers,the clinical efficiency of primary liver cancer was positive. Thus, it deserves popularize clinical application. |
