Bibliometrics Analysis Of The Aids Literatures About China,1989 To 2013

Objective A statistical Analysis of the Chinese literature and foreign literature about HIV/AIDS research during 1989-2013 by the numbers of literature,country,source of magazine,key author,institution of first auther,subject headings and subheading documents to explore the trend of the development of HIV/AIDS research and to analyse the hot spot of HIV/AIDS research.Methods The study was based on the literatures search from CBM and PubMed,used the method of subject-word to select articles,search literatures about HIV/AIDS field during 1989-2013.Using bibliometric methods for quantitative analysis and analysis the hot spot of HIV/AIDS research by group with the relevant subheadings.Results Afeter check for duplicate cases and sort out,get total 33588 papers,which 1242 papers in foreign language,with 32346 papers in Chinese.There are 1242 papers in foreign language have MeSH information and 1008 papers have major subheading information,involving 173 MeSH and 47 major subheading information.There are 15000 papers in Chinese have MeSH information and 3815 papers have major subheading information,involing 734 MeSH and 64 major subheading information.There are 1242 papers in foreign language have academic journal information,published in 326 kinds of academic journal,top 10 journals published 427 papers,takes proportion of 34.38%.There are 1500 papers in Chinese have academic journal information,published in 1175 kinds of academic journal,top 10 journal published 3258 papers,takes proportion of 21.72%.There are 1242 papers in foreign language have author information and a total of 93 key authors who published 438 papers,takes proportion of 35.26%.There are 31282 papers in Chinese have author information and a total of 971 key authors who published 7714 papers,takes proportion of 24.66%.There are 28451 papers in Chinese have information of first author's organization,they come from 8790 organizations.There are 1237 papers in foreign language have area information,involving 21 countries and areas.There are 14095 papers in Chinese have area information,involving 34 provinces.Conclusion The number of literature about Chinese HIV/AIDS showed a rising trend,after 2011,every year published 3000 papers and keep relatively stable.Papers in Chinese focus in prevention and control,papers in foreign language focus in basic research.The paper published in several kinds of academic journal intensely.The autors come from different area and organization.The foreign autors always come from the area with lots of chines.Chinese autors always come from the area with higher incidence of HIV/AIDS.
