Artemisia argyi is a kind of folk plants that have been widely applied for a long history.It is treated as delicacy due to its unique Pharmacological function by many famous doctors.It also has been widely used in our country,using for curing illness,or for edible food.Artemisia argyi is cultivated in most regions in our country,but the most famous production place is Qi Chun,a small city in Hubei.As one of the“QiChun treasures,it is famous for high quality and perfect performance.And it keeps high reputation by tests in hundreds of years.Choosing Chinese mugwort as the study project,aiming to analysis the chemical composition of the volatile oil extraction,technology of fingerprint and antioxidant activity in vitro.At first,this project studies the volatile oil extractions from different production places by HS-SPME-GC–MS and principal component analysis.And then this paper determines the genetic relationships between the plants from different places.Secondly,this paper further studies Chinese mugwort volatile oils from different parts and different harvest time,to optimize the extraction technology of volatile oil,we establish Artemisia argyi volatile oil fingerprint to test its antioxidant capacity.Thisresearch and then further study on the differences of different parts and different harvest time;Established the Chinese mugwort naphtha quality standards,the establishment of Chinese mugwort volatile oil fingerprint,provide the basis for the quality evaluation;The determination of the volatile oil of Chinese mugwort antioxidant capacity,for the development of more natural and safe antioxidants.This study has paved the way for the quality control of Chinese mugwort naphtha,at the same time,combining with the Chinese mugwort authentic local characteristics,providing scientific basis for the further development of Chinese mugwort,has important academic value and practical significance.1、The volatile components were investigated by HS-SPME-GC-MS based on the HP MSD Productivity ChemStation and was quantified roughly by peak area normalization method.Besides,the data were analyzed by principalcomponent analysis(PCA)and cluster analysis(CA).84 components were identified preliminarily.There were definite differences in essential components of Artemisiae argyi from different habitats.It can be distinguished effectively by principal component analysis and cluster analysis.The research could lay a scientific foundation for the quality evaluation of the volatile components of Artemisiae argyi.2、Gathered in six different growing periods(from May to October)and diferrent organ from the leaves,flowers and stems,the volatile oil was extracted by steam distillation(SD)and chemical components was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass(GCMS)spectrometry technique.The results showed that in different parts of of Artemisia argyi,the volatile oil content and components was the highest in the leaves,followed by theflowers,the stems were the lowest.In the different harvest period,the volatile oil content was also different,the highest harvest period was in June.SD-GC-MS analysis showed that in the different harvest time Artemisia argyi essential oil were d etected with high content of Eucalyptol,alcanfor,orneol and Caryophyllene etc.Leaves were the best medicinal parts of Artemi sia argyi.June was the optimum harvest time of Artemisia argyi.3 、 This experiment investigated the relative density and refraction rate of the volatile oil of Artemisia argyi.Detection of the Artemisia argyi volatile oil components such as eucalyptol,thujone,camphor,borneol,caryophyllene and caryophyllene oxide ene.Established the quality standard of volatile oil from Artemisia argyi by a number of indicators of the quality control.To provide the experimental basis for the quality control of traditional Chinese medicine preparation for Artemisia argyi volatile oil.4 、 Collecting 15 batches of Artemisia argyi sample,and optimizing the extraction technology of volatile oil from Artemisia argyi.We get the best industrial production extracting technology condition of the volatile oil from Artemisia argyi by studying and improving liquid material ratio,soaking time,extraction time and other related parameters.The research for guidance of industrialized production of Artemisia argyi essential oil has very important reference significance.Based on the determined optimum extraction process,extraction of volatile oil in accordance with the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2015 edition of the fouth 2000 the relevant provisions of volatile oil determination method under the other methods of traditional Chinese medicine2204.The extraction of volatile oil from different batches of Artemisia argyi by steam distillation method,and the yield of volatile oil were calculated.Using GC-MS to analysis the different batches of Artemisia argyi essential oil and establishing its GC-MS fingerprint as a basis for the identification and quality of Artemisia argyi volatile oil evaluation.5、Using the DPPH method to optimize preferred antioxidant conditions in the volatile oil,and on this basis a study of its antioxidant activity.The experiment compared the Artemisia argyi volatile oil and commonly used antioxidants BHT and VE.The experimental results show that,with the increase of the concentration of volatile oil from Artemisia argyi and its scavenging DPPH ability rapidly increased,it was stronger than VE in any concentration conditions.However,when with BHT comparison found that the scavenging rate in low concentration when(≤12mg/mL)weaker than BHT,in high concentrations(>12mg/mL)is stronger than that of BHT.Different batches of Artemisia argyi volatile oil on DPPH scavenging rate difference is small,show that different batches of Artemisia argyi volatile oil with relatively stable antioxidant capacity.
