Pharmaceutical Research Of Compound Yakult Capsule

Purpose:Compound Yakult capsule is a prescription for clinical application which consists of Epimedium,Ranae,Schisandra,Ligustrum lucidum which helps to improve human immunity.This study selected herbs on the optimum and determined the preparation process of the capsule and established the quality standards and preliminary stability studies.Method:Selecting the best technology using the method of orthogonal extraction process.The type and amount of the exeipients were selected according to the liquidity and hygroscopic.Granulating according to the screening results and determining particle critical relative humidity.Identifying the preparation of Ranae,Epimedium,Schisandra,Ligustrum lucidum by HPLC and TLC method and determine the content of Capsule Icariin in preparation,using the method of HPLC.Investigating the methodological study and the stability of compound Yakult capsule by accelerating test methods and long-term experiments.Result: The best technology of Schisandra and Ligustrum lucidum ethanol as follows:6 times volume of 80% ethanol,extracting for 4 times,each time 1h.The best technology of Epimedium is:12 times volume of water,0.5 hours soaking,boiling 3 times,each time 1h.The results showed no interference through identifying the preparation of Epimedium,Schisandra,Ligustrum lucidum by TLC method.Using the method of HPLC and methodological study to stipulate that each contains Icariin shall be not less than1.0mg.By accelerating test methods and long-term experiments of Compound Yakult capsule,the results showed that the index were qualified,showed good stability.Conclusion: The extraction process and molding process of Compound Yakult capsule were reasonable.The quality control method is simple.The preliminary stability research indicates that the quality of three batches samples are stable.
