Objective:Understanding the dynamic change of the rural population and the dynamic change on the level of the demand and utilization of medical services for the permanent population of rural residents in Jiangxi Province under the urbanization. Provide a theoretical basis for the government in making related policies to improve the utilization level of the medical services. Method:Choosing the object of study by using multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling from three counties. Choose 9 villages from counties, choose 27 countries from villages, then choose 70 households from countries. Conduct five household surveys in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014. Analysis the change of the population and the demand and utilization of medical services and influence factors study on the level of the utilization of medical services for the permanent population. Result:1. The change of population: The proportion of the migrant population decrease, the sex ratio is higher than the permanent population. Most of migrant people's age is from 15 to 44.2. Two-week prevalence rate, prevalence of chronic diseases, hospitalization: two-week prevalence rate of the migrant population above 55 years old is higher and increase quickly; the permanent population from 0 to 4 and above 45 years old is higher and increase quickly. Prevalence of chronic diseases of the migrant population above 55 years old is higher and increase quickly; the permanent population above 35 years old is higher, the permanent population above 45 years old increase quickly. Hospitalization of the migrant population above 55 years old is higher, the age from 45 to 54 and the age above 65 years old increase quickly; the permanent population from 0 to 4 and above 55 years old is higher, age from 0 to 4 and age above 35 years old increase quickly.3. Demand and utilization of medical services of the permanent population: Upward trend were found in the two-week prevalence rate and hospitalization, downward trend were found in the rate of not going to see a doctor and the rate of not going to see a doctor for financial difficulties.4. Influence analysis for the demand and utilization of medical services: Investigated year, age, job, marriage status, education level, whether suffering from chronic diseases were the influence factors. Conclusions:1. The utilization level of medical services was improved gradually, but there is still a rise space. Two-week prevalence rate and hospitalization of the permanent population is higher in high age group, and it increases quickly.2. Investigated year, age were the influence factors of the utilization of medical services of the permanent population.
