Objective:To investigate the spectrum of pathogens for community-acquired pneumonia(CAP)among pediatric inpatients in Jiaxing, and to provide a basis for the treatment of CAP.Methods:A total of 1338 children with CAP admitted in Jiaxing Women and Children's Medical Center during September 2014 and august 2015 were enrolled in the study.Respiratory secretions samples were collected for bacterial culture,Respiratory virus antigens were detected by immunodeficiency, and fluorescence polymerase chain reaction(PCR)was performed to detect atypical pathogens. Results:A total of 834(834/1338,62.33%)children were confirmed to have pertinent pathogens from 1338 children with CAP,a total of 1095(1095/1338,81.84%)strains of pathogens were isolated from all respiratory secretions, including 382(382/1338,28.55%)strains of bacterial,484(484/1338,36.17%)strains of viral and 229(229/1338,17.12%)strains of atypical pathogens.A total of 257(257/1338,19.21%)cases were confirmed to have mixed infection, the pathogens of infection mainly were bacteria and viruses. The three most common bacteria and viruses were Haemophilus influenza,Staphylococcus aureus,Moraxe Ua catarrhalis and respiratory syncytial virus,EB viru,parainfluenza(3).Mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)was the most common in the atypical pathogens. The pathogens of different age groups were different,,bacteria was the most common in the children with CAP aged from one month to six months;virus was the most common in the children with CAP aged from six months to two years and from two years to five years;atypical pathogens was the most common in the children with CAP aged from five years to fourteen years. Conclusions:Bacteria was the most common in the children with CAP aged from one month to six months in the children with CAP were in hospital in Jiaxing area;virus was the most common in the children with CAP aged from six months to two years and from two years to five years;atypical pathogens was the most common in the children with CAP aged from five years to fourteen years.mixed infection has a certain ratio, the pathogens of different age groups were different.
