The Expression And Significance Of Axl And Its Ligand Gas6 In Cholangiocarcinoma

Objective: To study the expression and clinical relevance of Axl and its ligand Gas6 in cholangiocarcinoma,to explore the mechanism in the occurrence and development of cholangiocarcinoma,to provide experimental evidence for the clinical treatment of cholangiocarcinoma.Methods:Collection 60 cases cholangiocarcinoma paraffin block specimens with complete pathological data and clinical information in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University,2010-2015,and collection 17 cases adjacent cancer paraffin block specimens(17 cases were negative,and confirmed by pathology)as a negative control.Using the immunohistochemistry(S-P)method to detect the expression of Axl and Gas6 protein in 60 cases cholangiocarcinoma tissue and 17 cases normal adjacent cancer tissue.Combined with the patient's age,tumor differentiation,tumor size,lymph node metastasis,hepatic artery or portal vein invasion and other clinical factors were analyzed.The results were analyzed by SPSS21.0 statistical software.Result:1 The positive expression of Axl was 71.7% in cholangiocarcinoma tissue was significantly higher than that was 29.4% in normal adjacent cancer tissue(P<0.05).The positive expression of Gas6 was 66.7% in cholangiocarcinoma tissue was significantly higher than that was 35.3% in normal adjacent cancer tissue(P<0.05).2 The high expression of Axl and Gas6 in cholangiocarcinoma tissue had not significant difference in age,tumor size,pathological grade(P>0.05).However the expression of Axl and Gas6 in cholangiocarcinoma tissue were relative to hepatic artery or portal vein invasion and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).3 The result showed that there was a strong positive correlation between Axl and Gas6 protein expression in cholangiocarcinoma tissue(r=0.479,P<0.01).Conclusion:1 Axl and Gas6 protein was highly expressed in cholangiocarcinoma,and the positive rate with the statistical analysis was significantly higher than in the adjacent normal bile duct tissues.The result showed that the expression of the Axl and Gas6 protein was close to the benign and malignant of bile duct and provide new ideas for the early diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma.2 The expression of the Axl and Gas6 protein in cholangiocarcinoma was not correlated with age,tumor size and pathological grade,but was related to the hepatic artery or portal vein invasion and lymph node metastasis.3 There was a positive correlation between the expression of Axl and that of Gas6 in cholangiocarcinoma.
