Objective: Study the diagnosis significance of cerebrospinal fluid procalcitonin level in the Central Nervous System Infection.Study the cerebrospinal fluid hs-CRP,ADA,?2-MG,LDH and lactic acid,CHE,AST levels in purulent meningitis, compared with Non central nervous system infections.Methods:1 This study collected the patients from Neural Department and neurosurgery Department of No.2 Hebei Medical University hospital.Date 2014-12-01 to 2016-01-31.The hospitalized patients diagnosed with central nervous system infection are selected an study group, the hospitalized patients without infection of the central nervous system and other system infection as control group.Separte the patients as the Case group1(purulent meningitis group1:23 cases, tuberculous meningitis group 1:12 cases, viral meningitis group 1:29 cases),control group1:13 cases;Case group 2(purulent meningitis group 2:15 cases secondary infection after brain surgery),control group 2: 17 cases non-central nervous system infection. The general situation(age, sex),clinical symptoms, signs, and other clinical symptoms were recorded. The results of CSF routine examination, biochemical, cytology, bacterial smear and culture were recorded.2 Collecte the cerebrospinal fluid samples.Detect the level of PCT in CSF of Case group1 and Control group 1.Detect the level of Hs-CRP,ADA,?2-MG,LDH,lactic acid,CHE,AST,in CSF of Control group2 and Control group2.Use the SPSS22.0 statistical software for analysis.Bilateral P <0.05 was considered as statistical significance.Results:1 There was no significant difference in the levels of procalcitonin in cerebrospinal fluid of purulent meningitis group, tuberculous meningitis group A,viral meningitis group A and control group A(P=0.730(P >0.05,Kruskal-Walis Independent sample test));2 Purulent meningitis group B compared with the control group B,purulent meningitis group B cerebrospinal fluid hs-CRP,ADA,?2-MG,LDH,LA,CHE,AST levels were higher than the control group B,and there were significant differences(P <0.05);The level of hs-CRP in cerebrospinal fluid of patients with Gram negative bacterial infection was more obvious.Conclusions:1 In the early diagnosis of central nervous system infection, cerebrospinal fluid PCT has no significantly meaning,It Should not be used as a routine examination in the early diagnosis of CNSI disease.2 Hs-CRP,ADA,?2-MG,LDH,lactic acid,CHE,and AST levels were increased in patients with purulent meningitis and significant increase in meningitis. The level of hs-CRP in cerebrospinal fluid of patients with Gram negative bacterial infection was more obvious.
