The susceptible population of clinical oral Candida albicans is usually in people with low immunity in children and elderly people, or in patients with immunodeficiency disease.In recent years, the incidence of candida infections has increased gradually. and the main reason is the abuse of broad-spectrum antibiotics, Patients of chronic diseases such as rheumatoid, chronic kidney disease, lupus erythematosus, etc. with long-term application of immunosuppressive agents, the prevalence of diabetes rise. At present Candida infection has become a serious problem in clinic.Objective To investigate the curative effect of Xipayi mouth rinse combined with cetylpyridinium chloride on oral candidiasis, aiming at providing treatment method for oral Candida infection. The main component of cetylpyridinium chloride is cetylpyridinium chloride, cetylpyridinium chloride can inhibit or kill candida albicans by damage fungal cell surface structure leading to the cell membrane swelling, [9]. Extracted from Chinese medicine gallnut Xipayi mouth rinse, the side effect is small. The main active ingredients of Xipayi mouth rinse is tea polyphenols. It is helpful to improve the curative effect of the treatment of oral Candida infections.Methods 92 cases of patients with oral candidiasis in our hospital from March 2012 to May 2015 were divided into observation group and control group with random number table,46 cases in each group. Patients in two group were given convention antifungal treatment and cetylpyridinium chloride, based on which patients in observation group were treated with Xipayi mouth rinse.30 days later the curative effect were evaluated.Results 108 strains of bacteria were isolated from 92 samples, among which there were 72 strains of unique bacteria infection, and candida albicans were the main bacteria, accounting for 62.96%. Cetylpyridinium chloride Candida albicans sensitivity rate was 75.00%, itraconazole against Candida albicans 45.59 rate sensitive, sensitive rate is relatively significant different (P<0.05). The total effective rate of observation group and control group were 97.83% and 80.43%, respectively, with significant difference (x2=4.890, P=0.015). Before treatment, there was no significant difference between oral pain score, mucosal atrophy and mucosal erythema of two groups (P>0.05); after treatment, oral pain score, mucosal atrophy and mucosal erythema of two groups significantly decreased (P<0.05), with significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). It has certain degree of improvement in clearing fungus.Conclusion Treatment on oral candidiasis with Xipayi mouth rinse combined with cetylpyridinium chloride could release oral pain, mucosal atrophy and mucosal erythema symptom and decrease the anxiety and depression level. |
