Objective:Changes in disease spectrum, and chronic non-communicable diseases development spurt, so CDC bear the heavy task of prevention and control, the role of disease prevention and control personnel becomes more prominent, good talent is the core business of the development of disease control. Optimization of disease control personnel will be directly related to the disease control agency can operate normally, and then provide a reference theoretical basis for promoting the development of disease control, and effectively improve the health of the people.Methods:To have an overview on the current capacity of disease prevention and control in Xuancheng city, we analyzed the actual situation of the human resources. We collected the general data of human resources in all sectors of disease prevention and control in xuancheng city. The characterization of human resources was analyzed by the chi-square test with comparable cities in China and Overseas.Results:a total of 8 disease prevention and control institutions in Xuancheng City, the staff of 337 people, directly responsible for disease prevention and control business with public health professionals and inspection personnel were 23.15% and 15.73%, the proportion was serious enough; clinical professional, medical testing, nursing and other medical classes (Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, Chinese medicine, oral radiology, etc.) accounted for 40.06%, the proportion is too high, the problem is not outstanding. Senior titles accounted for 3.56%, lower than the national average; the proportion of 35 to 44 years of age accounted for only 23.15%, the weak middle strength. Cities and counties in two levels of CDC staff degree was statistically significant (p<0.01); Compared between age, working years, professional and technical structure, specialty had no statistical significance (p>0.05).Conclusion:Xuancheng City CDC overall human resources planning system is missing, the lack of young talent with high academic qualifications, the existing quality of personnel work hard to meet the needs in the current situation. Lower age level talents complement severely restricted, leading to Xuancheng city and county levels for disease prevention and control institutions have staff aging and faults occur, which is not conducive to disease prevention and control long-term healthy development, and constitute an unreasonable job, more than one post is widespread seriously affect the normal development needs.
