Doctors and nurses are core and impetus of a hospital, they play a crucial role in the survival and development of the hospital. Employee job satisfaction is an important index to an organization's diagnosis and management. Surveying the job satisfaction of doctors and nurses, not only their satisfaction level could be investigated, but also help to discover the advantages and disadvantages in hospital management system, which would benefit the improvement of employee management mode and staff incentive approaches.Index designed in this paper consisted of seven dimensions with Autonomy,Personal time, Relationships with patients, Relationship with colleagues, Relationship with the superior, Resources and work environment, and Rewards. Totally, 500 questionnaires were handed out in Tianjin Central Hospital of Gynecology Obstetrics,and receives 410 available questionnaires, with 218 copies from doctors and 192 copies from nurses. Based on the survey data, the average and standard deviation were used to explore the discrete tendency and central tendency, then the cross analysis study was conducted to discuss medical staffs' satisfaction in each dimensions related to demographic information such as age, education, job title, and working years.Meanwhile, the Pearson Correlation Coefficient was calculated to elicit most important dimensions in deciding total job satisfaction.Results: 1. Employees' job satisfaction of each dimension in Tianjin Central Hospital of Gynecology Obstetrics are high; 2. Related to different age, education, job title, and working years, employees' job satisfaction are significant different in all dimensions; 3. According to doctors and nurses, the satisfaction of “Relationship with colleagues” was highest among all the dimensions; 4. In “Relationship with colleagues”, most nurses reported that they were not respected by doctors; 5. The satisfaction of ”Personal time” was lowest among all the dimensions, as almost all the employee reported that they were too busy to take good care of their family; 6.Although the total satisfaction level was high, only a little doctors and nurses would like to recommend others to take the same job with them; 7. According to the result of Pearson Correlation Coefficient analysis, “Rewards” and “Resources and work environment” were the most important dimensions.Recommendations: 1. Improve hospital work environment; 2. Perfect hospital compensation benefits; 3. Ameliorate employee's working time management system;4. Create fair and embracing culture atmosphere, give nurses more respect; 5. Attach importance to employee's career development.
