Study On Responsibility Of The Clinical Nursing Post In Wards Based On The Post Manangement

Objective:Based on the nursing management, this research analyzes the job information of clinical nursing, establishes a set of comparatively scientific, normative practical duty classification of clinical nursing and summarizes the factors should be taken into consideration in constructing the duty of nursing with the purpose of providing definite guidance for the clinical nursing, providing the method and theoretical basis for the nursing manager formulating the post duty.Methods:This research adopts the qualitative and quantitative analysis method, takes the job analysis principle and the ascending method in enterprise job duties construction as the theoretical framework and integrates with the Delphi technique to carry out the research on the duties of clinical nursing.1. On the basis of literature analysis, the descriptive observation of the observational method in job analysis is employed to conduct site observation, record the job content of clinical nursing and make a preliminary summary on the work task of clinical nursing.2. According to the work task summarized by the observational method and the duty description completed by relevant method, the questionnaire is designed to survey 132 clinical nurses in a first class tertiary hospital. The respondents are required to select the duties of nurses at different levels in clinical nursing and then the work duties of nurses at all levels are preliminarily defined according to the survey result.3. According to the requirements of Delphi technique,19 clinical nurse specialists and nursing management specialists are invited to demonstrate the preliminarily designed work duties and confirm the duties of clinical nursing.Results:1.The work tasks of clinical nursing are summarized by the observational method as follows:the clinical care includes life care, professional care, the first-aid and care of critical patients; the nursing management includes ward management, nursing quality and safety management, hospital infection management,; nursing education includes clinical nursing teaching, nursing vocational study and nursing round, nursing theory teaching; nursing scientific research includes clinical nursing study, new service expansion and 11 new techniques.2. Through the questionnaire survey and two rounds of Delphi techniques,6 duties for NO level nurse,6 duties for N1 level nurse,10 duties for N2 level nurse,10 duties for N3 level nurse,10 duties for N4 level nurse and 10 duties for N5 level nurse,52 duties altogether for clinical nursing are constructed.Conclusion:The constructed clinical nursing duties are of high degree of scientificity, reliability and practicability, providing specific and definite guidance for the clinical nursing, supplying the nursing managers constructing duties with the method and theoretical basis, offering the decision basis to the hospital in dealing with personnel allocation, performance assessment, ability training of clinical nurses.
