Studies On The Quality Control Of The Jingushang Sprays Of Miao Nationality Medicines

Objective: A herbal medicine Polygonum runcinatum was selected as a research object for improving quality standards of Jingushang sprays and Polygonum runcinatum.Methods: 1.TLC method was applied to identify this herbal medicine in Jingushang sprays;and enhanced limit examination and determination of three alkaloids in Jingushang sprays were in HPLC condition.The content of Jingushang sprays was measured by HPLC;The GC was used for analysis of menthol in the sprays.2.Polygonum runcinatum was identified by TLC and microscopic method.All inspection items of Polygonum runcinatum was in accordance with the relevant demands.The content of heavy metals was measured by AAS(atomic absorption spectrophotometry)and AFS(atomic fluorescence spectrophotometry).The content of3,3'-di-O-methyl ellagicacid and 3,3',4'-trimethyl ellagic acid of Polygonum runcinatum was measured by HPLC,its total tannin content was assayed by UV.Meanwhile,IR fingerprint of Polygonum runcinatum was also established.Results: 1.TLC method in Jingushang sprays was improved in determination of Polygonum runcinatum control medicine,3,3'-di-O-methyl ellagicacid,3,3',4'-trimethyl ellagic acid,Radix Paeoniae Rubra control medicine,paeoniflorin,menthol.Limit examination of Jingushang spray was impoved with mesaconitine,aconitine and hypaconitine as indexes.HPLC determination of Jingushang sprays was performanced with 3,3'-di-O-methyl ellagicacid,3,3',4'-trimethyl ellagic acid,paeoniflorin and icariin as indexes.Determination of menthol in Jingushang sprays was established by GC.2.TLC method of Polygonum runcinatum was improved with Polygonum runcinatum control medicine,3,3'-di-O-methyl ellagicacid and3,3',4'-trimethyl ellagic acid.The impurity inspection,moisture content,loss on drying,total ash,acid insoluble ash,residue on ignition of Polygonum runcinatum were 1%,14%,15%,4%,2%,4%,respectively.Eight organochlorine pesticide residues weren't found in Polygonum runcinatum.Ethanol cold soaking extract,ethanol hot soaking extract,water-soluble cold soaking extract,water-soluble hot soaking extract of Polygonum runcinatum were 32%,37%,23%,33%,respectively.Determination of Polygonum runcinatum was established with Pb?Cd?Cu?As?Hg as indexes by AAS and AFS.Determination of Polygonum runcinatum was established with 3,3'-di-O-methyl ellagicacid and 3,3',4'-trimethyl ellagic acid as indexes by HPLC.Determination of Polygonum runcinatum was established with gallic acid as an index by UV.The IR fingerprints of 15 batches of Polygonum runcinatum were quite similar.Conclusion: The TLC method,HPLC method,GC methods of Jingushang sprays which are simple,accurate and repeatable,can be used for quality control of the sprays.The TLC method,AAS and AFS method,HPLC method,UV method,IR method of Polygonum runcinatum which are simple,accurate and repeatable,can be used for quality control of Polygonum runcinatum.
