Seed vigor is a key indicator of seed quality.Over the years,the production practice has proved that chemical treatment can improve seed vigor and promote the growth and development of seedlings.DA-6 as a plant growth regulator of tertiary amine,regulates nitrogen metabolism and increases the net photosynthetic rate of plants,thus improving crop quality and increasing yield.In the present research,the main way of DA-6 application is spraying on the leaf,the most direct effects on the seed research rarely.This test will be DA-6direct effects on the seed,to study the effect of DA-6 treatment on seed vigor,and to explore the physiological mechanism of the impact of seed vigor,which can provides the theoretical foundation for the promotion of DA-6 in production.This study with low energy and high energy corn seeds as the experimental material.By using DA-6 to soaking seed,sanding cutting,and seed dressing,we need to explore the optimal conditions for three treatments,to analyze the effects of different treatments on seed vigor and seedling and measure the changes of metabolic enzymes and protective enzymes,and then the physiological mechanism of da-6 treatment to improve seed vigor was analyzed.The main results are as follows:1.The best treatment conditions about the low vigor seed of Tiantai 33 are as follows:seed soaking with the concentration of 125 mg/L DA-6 solution is 13 h,sand mixing with the concentration of 60 mg/L DA-6 solution under the condition of that the ratio of drug to sand is19ml/100 g,seed dressing with the concentration of 600 mg/L DA-6 solution under the condition of that the radio of seed to drug is 1:75.6.The best treatment conditions for high vigor seeds are as follows: sand mixing with the concentration of 15-25 mg/L DA-6 solution under the ratio is 19ml/100 g of sand,the concentration of 50 mg/L DA-6 solution was mixed in the conditions of the drug ratio between 1:74 and 1:78.2.The experiment shows that the DA-6 treatment can significantly improve the seed vigor,but there is some damage to the high vigor seed in soaking seed treatment.Although the two treatments of sand cutting and seed dressing are not very different in the improvement of seed vigor,and are better than soaking seed,the sand cutting is more complicated.In conclusion,the seed dressing is simpler and more convenient and more conducive to the promotion and utilization.3.Under the condition of the optimum concentration treatment.The treatments of seed dressing and sand mixing with DA-6 solution respectively show that the low vigor seed increase greater than the high vigor seed,the increase of vitality of high vigor seeds is mainly on the vigor index;The single plant stem weight and root length of seedling morphological indexes increase significantly in both treatments,and the DA-6 treatment improves the root vitality of the seedling,which is beneficial to the increase of seedling quality.4.Under the condition of the optimum concentration processing,after the treatments of seed dressing and sand mixing with DA-6 solution respectively,the activity of related metabolic enzymes(alpha amylase,amylase and dehydrogenase)and protective enzyme(SOD,POD and CAT),which were from the same species of low and high vigor maize seeds was measured at different periods,and we found that the two kinds of processing of all the determination of enzyme activity is higher than the control treatment.The treatment of DA-6improved the material in the seed decomposition and utilization,enhance the metabolic ability of seed,which help seed germination.
