Three Meat Duck Bacteria Disease Investigation And Drug Resistance Analysis In Taian And Laiwu City

Shandong province produced most of meat ducks in China.Tai,an and Laiwu city played a very importance role in Shandong meat duck industry.In recent years,Tai,an and Laiwu area had more bacteria diseases due to high density in these two areas.However,therapeutic effect was not good that it caused great economic loss for meat duck producers.The main meat duck bacteria disease included salmonella,Ecoli and RA.In order to find the types of bacteria disease and the condition of antibiotic resistance,it was very necessary to do some disease investigation in Taian and Laiwu city.This trial had done meat duck disease investigation for Tai,an and Laiwu city.We investigated 92 meat duck farms and found that 35 farms had suspected bacteria issues according to preliminary diagnosis.We took 35 batches,187 samples in these two areas to do bacteria isolation and drug sensitive test.The main purpose of this trial was to find scientific ways to prevent these diseases and help the producers make more profits.We made preliminary diagnosis based on necropsy results.The incidence of bacteria disease in Taian and Laiwu area was 43.24%and 34.54%.We collected organ samples from 35 different meat duck farms which included brain,liver and spleen to do bacteria isolation and drug sensitive test.The incidence of salmonella,Ecoli and RA was 75%,33%and 25%in Tai,an;The incidence of salmonella,Ecoli and RA was 63%,19%and 6%in Laiwu.The drug sensitive test showed that bacterial drug resistance was very serious in these two areas.In conclusion,salmonella was main meat duck bacteria disease in Tai,an and Laiwu city which was related to egg vertical transmission.Ecoli was another meat duck bacteria disease in Taian and Laiwu city which was related to poor duck houses.Drug resistance was very serious in these two areas.
