Foot-and-mouth disease(FMD)is a highly infectious disease of cloven-hoofed animals caused by FMDV,and listed as the first of A class infectious diseases.Liquan county is located in the middle of the Guanzhong plain in Xianyang,Shaanxi province,and is one of the largest counties in animal breeding in Xianyang.In order to ensure the healthy and stable development of animal husbandry in the region,the infectious disease prevention and control is particularly important.Therefore,the detection of immune antibody levels against FMD vaccine is an important content in the scale farms for the disease detection,and it is an important basis for the prevention and control of epidemic diseases.Total 1338 sera from 23 farms of 10 towns in Liquan county were collected in this experiment.The immune antibody levels against FMD vaccine were detected in livestock of the region.The existed problems of immunization status in livestock were tested and analyzed in the region for providing the basis for the control of FMD in livestock.The results were as follows:1.The immune antibody levels against O type FMD vaccine were detected in livestock farms and households of Liquan for three consecutive years 2015-2017.The results showed that O FMD immune antibody qualified rates in swine were 78.37%,81.82% and 81.86%,respectively,in 2015,2016,2017;the qualified rates of O FMD immune antibody qualified rates in goat were 81.41%,79.22% and 88.28%,respectively;the qualified rates of O FMD immune antibody in cattle were 80.23%,86.9 % and 88.04% respectively.2.The results of immune antibody levels against O type FMD vaccine showed that the qualified rates of immune antibody in livestock of the sampling region were all higher than 70%,which is the standard required by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture,indicating that the immunization was effective in swine,cattle,goats of Liquan county in recent years.However,the qualified rate of immune antibody levels against O type FMD should be increased for better controlling O type FMD.
